Howdy ATS,

I stumbled upon an interesting presentation from the 2013 UFO Congress. I'm aware many folks here see Jaime Maussan as a hoaxer. I think he has been mislead in the past, but I find this presentation too good not to share. It presents footage from all over the globe (much of it I had seen) in an organized manner drawing out the similarities. He also covers the possible "horns in the sky" sound to a couple different UFO sightings. Overall, I got a lot out of this so I wanted to share.

The Disclose.TV link will have the video, and the Educating Humanity link will have an article. I don't think there is a way to embed a video hosted on disclose.tv. If so, can someone tell me how?

Cheers!

Jaime Maussan is a leading journalist in covering the phenomenon of UFO sightings in Mexico and around the world. During his hour-long presentation at the Open Minds 23rd International UFO Convention, the audience was spellbound by audio and video footage presented by Mr. Maussan, including a portion described as “The Hum” which are ominous sounds described by eyewitnesses as accompanying sightings and being emitted from the UFOs.

I dont think he is a hoaxer but he encourages hoaxes buy offering money to anyone who can produce something that looks like aUFO so he can put it on his weekly show about UFO's. He doesn't care if something is real or not , just if it can make him money and more famous.

he does take dome of the most ridiculous videos of balloons and blurds from other people and talk them up like they are the end scenes from independence day.

He might not be the direct source of the hoaxes, but anyone that believes in the "flying humanoids/witches" and keeps associating himself with the likes of known frauds like "Dr." Greer and "Dr" Johnathan Reed, is either a clown or a charlatan.

i got as far as the first image he presented which was that big ball of gas or whatever coming out of the Sun. He claimed it was a craft.
i mean, come on. The man does absolutely no research, if he did he would find that all or most of his images and video's are fakes. Then again, if he did do the research he wouldnt have anything to present at these get-togethers and his t.v. show.
How can anyone take him seriously?

I don't think everyone associated with Greer is a hoax just for their association. He does provide a huge platform for others, even if his agenda is questionable. It's a good video, but since it's associated with Greer it will be missed by many.

Bummer.

Sifting through the bs does get exhausting, so I understand.

Thanks for the replies!

A taxidermist stuffed a squirrel monkey sans ears. Then Maussan made some extraordinary claims about it, and talked about DNA testing, etc.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

More importantly, Urso Ruíz apparently confessed in an Internet forum he indeed hoaxed the creature, which is indeed just a squirrel-monkey:

“It’s just the corpse of a skinned squirrel-monkey. I took its ears out and involved it with all the hair and fluids of all animals I could find, then I dried it. All samples they take of it will come out as being of different animals.”

He goes on:

“Mr Mario quickly sold it to Maussán for 300.000 pesos [U$23,000], as you can see after four years they still can’t realize it’s a hoax.”

And tries to defend himself:

“I must say I didn’t claim it was real. That was Maussán who claimed it was real. He believed it. All the show was a hoax that got out of control,
That was definitely a hoax, and Maussan was up to his eyeballs in it.

Maybe if Jaime did some (even a little bit) sifting himself.

Sift?! When you could be spending time back at the modest little homestead?? Those fountains and underground rooms won't clean themselves.

He's whip-smart and has an eye for what his public want.

"People say why would a penguin be in a tree?

I say no, no, no. The question is how?! It is aliens!"

LOL!!!

I hadn't heard of him until I saw this video yesterday. I'll go back and read through some threads. Sounds like I shouldn't waste too much time on him, though. I didn't know about the alien dna thing. Wow.

Even still, I like the organization of the referenced presentation.

Thanks for the feedback, all!
