Why are the ATS Chat Rooms Not Used much?

Well I remember back in 06/07 there was a chat room, maybe even further back.
But since I officially joined (and you joined) there has always been a chat room (apart from when people broke T&C I guess) but Mutter was a very short lived thing that was around for just a few months in either 09 or 10.


ETA:

I personally think we should have voice chat rooms or fight rooms where you can go in and rip someone a new one.
Verbally give them what for, I think that would be cool*




*Not really and would probably destroy ATS, but would be pretty insane either way, I wonder how many could hold their own vocally as opposed to typing and copying and pasting stuff.

It was the same old people just waiting for a post they did not like.

Then they would swoop in acting all outraged and try to destroy the OP.

Compared to now....

Now the top story is constantly Amatuerish topics that nobody reads.

If one of your threads is the topped flagged thread on the board it is quickly closed.

This is a new low for ATS. I am really disappointed. I was treated rudely by this person.

These new videos are not worthy of ATS. The interviews are not prepared.

The 1950 television doesn't even work right. Somebody is taking advantage of their friends.

My 13 year old child makes better videos. Time to take a break for awhile.

I'm sad. This pathetic attempt to hijack the membership is just wrong.

Before the change over to this site, the chat room was loaded with people. It was hard to keep up with so many people. I know a lot of people didn't like the changes and just never followed us here. I know a lot of people also have technical difficulties of one kind or another. Perhaps by bringing this thread here you will grab the attention of more people. Hell, maybe even I'll check it out later myself. I haven't been in quite some time.

I don't understand what you're talking about, Hijacking the Membership? This thread is about ATS Chatrooms?
Of course ATS has changed, but can you explain further what you mean and what has upset you?

It would be great but you'd have to sign a waiver or something, there's no way it could be moderated and ATS is totally against any kind of age related, adult content... I don't mean adult as in sexual, but just language, violence etc etc.

Would be fun though.

You're correct. The ATS Chat room usually has a lot more people during the ATS Radio shows.

There is a show every day except Tuesday.

I believe all of the shows do "chat room shout-outs", with the exception of the Out of the Box show since it's pre-recorded.

Most of us that participate in the shows like to hop in chat and talk with our fellow members on the topics we discuss on the shows, but also current events or off topic nonsense.
