Could MH370 have been following this line / ridge for some reason??

Hello folks,

I've been keeping a close eye on the MH370 happenings.. along with pretty much the whole world.

So i was aware that the plane has apparently come down around 1500 miles off the coast of perth.

I had a look on google maps, trying to pinpoint the area without looking at the satellite images etc..

I put the map to the 500 mile scale , and judged where i thought it may have been located.

I still didnt check any further into the realeased images, when i found what looks like a line from

almost the Andoman and Nicobar islands heading in a southerly direction finishing almost parallel to Perth in Australia.

Is this line a significance of some sort?

Is it a ridge or underwater volcanic range, or tectonic plate of some sort?

Could this be used to hinder a locate / search / rescue operation in some way?

Following my initial thought, I have also taken a glance at two proposed possible flight paths, and bizarrely it seems to be very

close to that line i was previously talking about.

What are your thoughts on this?

I immediately noticed the VERY long mountain chain running mostly North and South just west of the projected path on the seafloor.

why do'nt they put in submarines for the search???
they must be able to pick up signals from the black boxes over an long distance !
