The little girl grows
Even though she knows
From Grannys she goes
Home to a fist by those

Those unfit for might
Those who fight and fright
Fear fills inside night after night
What about terrified's right

Her little heart broken
The harsh words spoken
Like a monkeys token
Hidden with cloaking

While they in office
Employ no police

Ineffectual social workers
The terrified child left by lurkers.

Mary cries for the children so do i

Whoa. This is deep, my1percent. Really hits home for me because of my own childhood. This is exactly what poetry should be. Good work. Hope you share more!
