He's not a party leader but terrorist and a war criminal.

He said that when police will try to arrest him, he will fight them to the death. And that is what happened. He wasn't handcuffed and then shot. There was a shootout and he shot a police officer in the helmet. He and three of his 'friends' fought police during the arrest and Muzicko was shot. Other three were arrested.

Never said it was huge, i said it could be the start of a purge by Russia or the Ukraine against undesirables.

A few days ago Muzchiko made a video saying he would be murdered and that the attorney general and the mnistry of the interior of the Ukraine had decided to eliminate him or capture him and hand him over to Russian intelligence.

He knew from a while ago he was a marked man.

Russia ordered his arrest for the torture and killing of 20 russian soldiers in Chechnya between '94 and '95, where he fought under the name of "Shasko Bilyi".

Personally, i think this guy was just executed.

Without doubt the first of many yet to come.

It took Russia nearly 20 years to get hold of the criminal that killed 20 of its soldiers and that too in the line of duty.

Some respect Russia gives to its common foot soldiers. If it was case of Israel, this criminal would have been taken out within a month.

Guess things move slowly in Russian culture.

That doesn't mean anything, or did they present any evidence?
Besides, if Muzichko was working with/for NATOs secret army, then his Nazi-buddies probably didn't know about it... hell, HE might not even have known about it. That's the thing about covert warfare...

He is the one who called everyone to kill Russians. He fought in Chechnyia against Russians. He fought in Serbia against Serbians and he even said that he fought in Syria. About month ago he said that he will kill all politicians who will try to harm him and he even brought AK-47 to the regional meeting of leaders and said: "Try and take it from me".

That's true. And I don't know what evidence they have but I know they hate Russia (their goal was war with Russia as they repeated many times). And if they blame Ukrainians for this, it has to mean something. Just my guess.

He did seem to be very angry with Russia and a hot head who brought to much attention to himself but who can blame him? After living under Soviet oppression I would hate Russia with an ever loving passion and do anything I could to keep them out of my country as well. I could see him being taken out by Russian FSB or the new leaders of Ukraine for being to apt to start taking out Russian civilians making the new leaders look bad.

You would have to think that the leaders of Ukraine would have done everything they could to keep him hidden and quite till they needed his fighters though. He would be very handy to have if Russia does invade and it really looks like they are planning on it.

Can you say stalking horse or what. Muzichko was basically commanding Right Sector when they spearheaded the Maiden riots against Berkut. Right Sector did all the hard work, and now they are taking the fall. There's no way that the new government in Ukraine will allow these guys to continue running around in mobs. Trying to suppress them will show real violence and drama compared to Maiden, and may even involve some western intervention or hell, maybe they will be crying to Russia for military assistance.

EDIT: And don't forget, this same government has been training and arming Right Sector to fill up its national guard. The threat that Right Sector poses is large in scope. Right Sector is a right-wing quasi-paramilitary force, and many members came from around Europe to fortify a "fifth column" style insurgency in Ukraine.

Right Sector are remnants of Operation Gladio, just like Golden Dawn in Greece, or almost any radical fascist movement in Europe since that's who the CIA supported for so long in order to terrorize leftist movements. Remember that guy who shot over 70 kids in Norway? He was tied to fascists, and he shot children in a socialist youth camp.

Point is that Right Sector is a CIA puppet if you dig deep enough. And it would be in the CIA's interest to keep Ukraine destabilized, in order to keep Russia preoccupied with instability in Ukraine.
