When it comes to literal analysis, what is stated in text is stated in text. These two individuals ignore that.
I think that you make a mistake in not taking into consideration the metaphorical nature of the verses involved in the "analysis".
A real analysis involves quite a bit of study, and more than a single person can do in a lifetime, and why I recommend reading Bible commentaries, and not ones by people with an agenda to promote a specific theory set.

You assume everything is metaphor.

Ok, so sin wasnt mentioned, but freewill overrides dna and environment. That means a child old enough to use free will is old enough to sin. Your degree has nothing to do with it.

depending on the time frame.

DNA override any freewill in infancy.

although I do agree that even 3-4 year olds can manifest a freewill with a malicious content I highly doubt it's degree of "sinfulness" exceeds the very minor venialty

I'll say it again, sin is anything that falls short of God's standards Romans 3:23.
Paul was quoting from the Old Testament making the point that Jews were not better than gentiles by having the Law.

SAYS YOU.

That means a child old enough to use free will is old enough to sin.

A child old enough to REASON is old enough to sin.
A child who is 6 months old uses 'free will' to decide to pick up a bottle or not.
That child is not old enough to sin because they do not have a fully functioning reason system.

Your degree has nothing to do with it.

You sound like a jealous 12 year old girl.
My degree has plenty to do with it when we are discussing human mentality.

edit on 3/23/2014 by FlyersFan because: (no reason given)

I'll tell you what, you back all of what you just said with scripture, and I'll shut up. Psychology doesnt cut it.
