My dog would start biting fingers until that treat magically reapeared. She's very persistent when it comes to Pupperonis.

My 17 year old lab, in her last days, someone was trying to play hide the treat like that with her.

It was funny, cause I watched her look at the person like " are you F-ing kidding me"

She nipped at his hand, he dropped the treat in shock, she picked it up and walked away with what I swear was a smug look.

Interesting responses from the dogs. First reaction: sniff it out. Doesn't matter if they are hounds or not....sniff it out. Matter of fact, the wirehaired doxy didn't really sniff much. More of the "are you effing kidding me?", then he runs off. I don't recall there being any other hound group dogs in the video.

Wonder what a bloodhound would do with the trick?

I like Salli's distrustful response and barking. I could hear "witch! witch! burn it, it's a witch!" in that bark. Does make me wonder how he blocked the scent of the treat in his little maneuver because you'd think they'd be able to sniff it out. Cologne maybe?

Sniff up his sleeve? That is what I kept waiting for, that is if the magician actually hide the treat there.
I like the way some doggies looked to their owner as if to say "where's it at dad/mom?"

Tell you what. We'll pit my 6 lb Siamese against your dog regardless of size. She's been known to make large dogs run in sheer terror from her. It's actually a pretty hilarious sight to behold.

Not much difference between the reactions of people to David Blain. Thanks, that made my day when I really needed it.

Interesting that I am so different. I can't see any humor at all, I thought the trick was cruel, it is like hiding something good after offering it to a child, of course they will not understand. Pointless and cruel in my opinion.

Well this was cute but I think the dogs have much the same reactions as humans would.

I took something different away from this - that Laughter is the same in any language. It's a known thing yes, but shows how we as humans have common traits even though we may be miles apart speaking different languages.
