Hello friends,

Today I watched a video of Syrians soldiers getting executed by a shot in the head each followed by perhaps a minute of getting bullets shot into their dead bodies by Syrian rebels. The experience was a bit creepy, I also realized that even though I do not go around looking for such videos or pictures on the internet, I have been desensitized to a certain degree to this sort of images. I found it utterly disgusting and inhumane but the images themselves did not affect me as much as I would have thought.

Anyways, after watching the video I then made a search in google regarding snuff videos and why some people would deliberately look at them. It eventually got me to a website mentioning the Deep web as a place where thousands and thousands of such videos exist. As I was reading the article, it mentioned how people were selling drugs, child slaves, weapons, conspiracy theories etc...

The words conspiracy theories is what struck me. Basically I was wondering if any of you had ever been to the deep web and if you could tell me more about the conspiracy theories stuff being shared down there. I am not talking about old pages no longer relevant just being relegated to the deep web but perhaps dedicated websites.

Are the conspiracy theories being shared down there the same as on ATS ? Or is there some stuff not even us ATS members are not aware of when it comes to conspiracy theories?

Also I just want to make it clear to mods and members, I do not wish for you to advertise a certain website on the deepweb. I am just wondering about the content of the conspiracy theories on these websites.

Good question. Have you ever been there yourself? Its a really messed up place.

I guess I could look around. The NSA might be knocking at my door tomorrow, but eh, one for all right?

Never been there no. But why do you say that? Is it illegal to go there even if you do not participate in any crime? Main reason I wont go is im afraid to bump into pedophile stuff or apparently stuff way worst.

edit:
Just read the above links and it seems the deep web works with direct query so one would not just bump into unwanted stuff. Thanks for the links.

Ahem. Long ago and far away, you could get "jobs" on the deep web.

Not the sort you would normally want your kids doing, these sort of went after the recently retired SF/SEAL group.

I guess in a way it sort of indirectly frames conspiracy theories. There is a really large group of email groups where retired operators share what's going on in the community, for instance. You get a lot of info there you don't get from the MSM. And there are pseudo deep web sites where you have to have presented your bonafides and had them vetted by others who knew you before you can gain access. On those sites, there are lots of "jobs" and a lot of ruminations over why this and that are happening in various places far away. By looking at who's hiring who and for what, and the rumor mill on the geezer operator circuit, and the news, you can often get a jump on the MSM.

You, at one time, could pick up a really nifty bit of work from a conspiracy-heavy employer like SRI with the right background. The times are changin', as they say, because that sort of thing is rare now. But the SOF type jobs are pretty common on the dark net.

Honestly with some of the conspiracies out there I can't possibly fathom one that would shock me at this point. I mean, it just seems like there isn't a conspiracy that I haven't already heard or at the very least that are essentially just rehashes of other conspiracies.

I dunno, maybe I'm just jaded.

The dark web, deep web, clear web, whatever the eff you want to call it kinda freaks me out. It just seems like a creepy place. I have never gone on personally but my brother has and we talked about for a bit on several occasions. Basically just seems like Mos Eisley Cantina of the internet, "never has there been a more wretched hive of scum and villainy". Though I understand that resistance groups allegedly operate on there through TOR and what have you but it seems to me that it is mostly black market stuff like the silk road and people looking for hitmen. Creepy.

So is it illegal to get TOR and go check it out?

The saying "don't believe everything You read/see on the internet" holds true for the kiddie pool of the interwebs thus it's further compounded in the deep end of the dark web.

I've done some deep dives... the stuff You'll drag up from the deep is pretty intense. As for Your question" Are the conspiracy theories being shared down there the same as on ATS?" Well yes and no... there's some message boards and stuff that stick with pretty "normal" conspiracy theories and then there's boards and sites that just can't be described bordering on insanity if You even read it...Usually if anything there gets a following and isn't bordering on illegal to discuss however it gets brought up the surface to indexed sites on the "normal" web.

anyway if Your gonna be down there I'd recommend use lot's of proxies and security behind Your TOR client of choice...and even that's not really enough in some cases if even some of the rumors going on down there about some of the black project technology that "someone" has to track You.

Edit: It's not illegal to use a TOR client and check some stuff out but there's sites there that will get You in a heap of trouble... use Your judgment wisely and it'll help to get up on the lingo so You stay away from certain stuff that would give You a bad time...stay away from anything labeled hard candy....

You don't need to go into the deep web for that there's a certain news network website that shows that and plenty more sick stuff. How it's even online I don't know!

The "deep web" is the vast majority of the content of the internet. There is lots of notorious stuff out there for sure, but there is a great deal of it that is just private and doesn't want to found via a search engine.

Once upon a time, I saw a few hitman advertisement down there, and found it on the open web (image based). Most hitman in the DeepWeb are pretty much scam, but the one I read, sounds genuine, complete with details of how the transaction will be done etc etc. I havent look into pedophile stuff, not my interest and I hate that. It was a curious browsing actually.

What I found:
:Hitman for hire (mostly scammers)
:Credit cards for sale (dont bother to check)
DOS/Hacker for hire (dont bother to check)
edophile links (dont bother to check)
:How to make illegal stuff, DIY
:Links/Index to other places (too many)

I quit, because the shallow waters already full of what I want. They dont provide conspiracies, but maybe some documents, but we got WikiLeaks dont we ? let them do the scouring. If you need conspiracy, just support WikiLeaks and Wikipedia, that would be enough.

Just keep away from it, not because of its illegal, but because its immoral (thats twice the wrong!).

The "Deep Web" usually refers to sites not normally accessible with just a 'stock' web browser and commercial operating system. You usually need to get special protocol add-ins that allow you to "speak the lingo" of its sites.

The data passing through it is encrypted and anonymized to a large degree.

One famous site was "The Silk Road" which has now been taken down (although there are probably other sites that fill the gap). On Silk Road it was possible to buy and sell illegal drugs and there were many other illegal activities, including murder, which were advertised to those who were looking.

My guess is that much of what is in the Deep Web is actually fiction but there also was some genuine illegal activity (or perhaps I am just too innocent).

I browsed a number of sites in the Deep Web but never felt the need to interact in any way (or perhaps I didn't want to potentially expose myself).

What strikes me when I read this, though I have had such thoughts before, is how the Internet and the total mind of humanity are so very much like the mind itself. It has been talked about "the collective unconscious" by Carl Jung and similar ideas have been talked about elsewhere. Us all being connected and all being part of God is something that I find quite interesting too. The Antichrist is said to have one eye. Compare to this:

socioecohistory.files.wordpress.com...

I do think there is a very profound and deep dimension to the Internet and that there is something spiritual about it. The paranoia that the surveillance leads to and the revelation of the information sharing is probably not insignificant. I also find it quite interesting to compare the language used in for example cryptography and physics to religion.

en.wikipedia.org...

upload.wikimedia.org...

I guess Google has it's name derived from "googly eyes", which probably is a reference to someone looking into something. Makes you wonder who or what is actually looking into what...

static4.fjcdn.com...

I have been thinking about mental "disorders" and states and how this relates to spirituality. Spritual people have almost always been considered lunatics by unspiritual people.

www.youtube.com...

This has a lot of relevance to the thread I just started about Asperger and being into truth seeking...

The deep web is in many ways a lot like the subconscious mind. And I have been wondering if "hell" actually is nothing but a deep dive into the subconscious mind. As an Asperger person and someone going through hell I feel kind of proud thinking of myself as a brave explorer of unexplored territories few dare even mention... I do think I'm onto something.

Another thing that is relevant to this thread is this phenomenon of keeping people in the dark, unaware of certain things. Who is it really that is doing the concealment? Have you thought about that? And who is in charge of the revelation? I do feel like being an initiate a lot of times...

From a materialistic viewpoint one might wonder what never reaches our eyes on the ordinary web, gets deleted before anyone ever reads it. But how do we know this doesn't happen on the deep web as well? What you don't know you don't know, right? And how do we know the whole deep web isn't run as a black op/honey pot or has been infiltrated? Maybe no corner of the web is outside the scope of the all seeing eye. Makes me think about God seeing everything and makes me wonder if doing anything you are ashamed of or afraid of is a sin. But on the other hand I feel like some of the most mind expanding things I have ever done would then be considered sins, which might contain a lot of significance.

I see TPTB infiltrating things and running things from behind the curtain to such a large extent that this is something I believe is very deep and significant. I do believe that Zionism and Jews are a very important part of this. And I personally believe Zionists are not fake Jews but real Jews. And I see them as lightbringers, a light unto the nations. Their mission is to reveal God's presence in the world to non-Jews. A lot of non-Jews think they are not doing that but I think it is exactly what they are doing.

www.chabad.org...

www.youtube.com...

www.youtube.com...

Think about capitalism vs socialism, the banks in middle, collectivism, brave new world/1984, science, mind control. Nazism actually led to the Jews becoming more powerful. Think about opposition either becoming infiltrated or being controlled to begin with. The growing oppression in my world makes me wonder if I'm sinning against God. But at the same time this evil seems to enlighten me, so I don't know if I'm acting right or wrong. I wonder if bitcoin, silk road, the deep web and all these things might be either infiltrated or controlled opposition and that you will not escape the effect of your actions no matter how much you think you are hiding. Much like a child that is playing hide and seek and standing very visible to its parent but thinking themself they are hiding. Very much like Adam and Eve feeling ashamed and covering themselves with leaves...

www.youtube.com...

Time to get paranoid. Sometimes I love paranoia... Am I weird?

I love the Jews.

The darknet is weird. I've done some window shopping on Silk Road, it's especially strange to see such wares openly available. Silk Road is reopen as a 2.0 version. The payment mechanics led recently to the loss of a great deal of money. The nature of the items being purchased and the anonymity provided by bitcoins could easily result, in my opinion, to one becoming the victim of a scam. Also the TOR Library is awesome, though I am unsure of its legality they have thousands of ebooks.

you want to make it so you cant sleep? go there. I am sure it's still restricted registration so.. good luck. but .. nah you do not need the darkweb to get that. not at all. and well, may god have mercy on your soul.

I was at a friend's house who used to browse Silkroad and similar sites and I recall seeing some people selling .pdf's of 9-11 conspiracy theory, supposed Army training manuals, Cancer cures, and a few other conspiracy related documents concerning Chem Trails, UFO's, and the usual topics found on ATS. I don't know if they had any more information then what you could find on the regular internet but if it wasn't so sketchy and I had a few extra bucks I would of bought the Cancer one and the Army training manual. I think they were all around $25 except the Army one was like $200.

Inventive concept....But..Actually... in the interest of historical correctness an to quell that paranoina: The name was decided upon to be Googol: as in the name for the large number 10 to the power of 100 but they misspelled it.(unsure if intentional or not)

Google, originating from a misspelling of the word "googol", the number one followed by one hundred zeros, which was picked to signify that the search engine was intended to provide large quantities of information

Interesting. Indeed, my interpretation was speculative.

I honestly believe paranoia and depression are spiritual mechanisms, and not illnesses or anything like that. It's the language of the soul I guess you could call it. That is something that should be listened to and not quelled. When it's listened to it leads to spiritual development and eventually will disappear anyway. I believe pretty much any "mental problem" is like this. It's a blessing, because it is the language of the soul and it's trying to tell you something. That's why being spiritual, being creative and being mad are pretty much the same thing...
