My fridge freezer makes buzzing noises...

But as soon as I go near it, the noise stops and as soon as I walk away it starts..

Anyone know what's wrong with it?

Thanks

Not enough information to really make a diagnoses ._. !
Brand, Model number, etc would all be needed to properly tell you if the sound you here is normal ( which it probably is like the condenser coil defrosting. ) or something like that.

It could be off balance or something in your fridge is vibrating like 2 bottles against each other - when you get close to it could be leveling the fridge and stopping the noise. Stick a shim underneath it & see what happens.

Yeah, I'm all for something loose in your floor.

Or it's possessed.

Probably, it's possessed.

It's an argos range, the noise is like an electrical buzzing noise and only seems to happen at night and stops when walking close and starts when walking away

Rearrange your bottles so they aren't touching each other - if that doesn't work unplug it and plug it back it. Will cause a defrost cycle in your freezer - could have ice on the freezer fan will come back on in about an hour.

Walk up to it immediately with a holy cross in your outstretched arms. Do not touch it! Just let it know your on to it. If it continues to give unwanted noises, unplug it and have it taken away. A possessed fridge cannot be reasoned with!

It may be vibrating and the floor is somehow amplifying the sound...try coming at is sideways..betcha it has something to do with that...

Have you tried moving it in small increments one way or another?
Have you adjusted the adjustable legs till a level placed atop the thing reads level?
Or maybe a hefty boot will work?

Catching a buzz around your fridge....Cool.

I had the same problem...

Honestly, it's likely the ice cube maker - if you have one.

If you don't have an ice cube maker, then slowly back away from it, turn around and run out the house screaming like a girl (this will help...Trust me! My wife is an expert!)

If all else fails....

That's what I was thinking too .mine does it sometimes and I just slam the door a couple times and it clears right up
