According to toxicologist John Henry at Imperial College, London University Viktor Yushchenko, Ukraine's opposition leader at the center of
Ukraine's controversial election is possibly suffering from "Cloracne" a condition that can be brought on by exposure to chemicals such as
dioxins.
A dramatic tranformation in Mr. Yushchenkos looks has been noticed in photographs since early August and late November when the election occured
leading to suspicion of poisoning.

Yushchenko, the leader of the opposition, was hospitalized with a mystery illness in September and later claimed that he had been poisoned by the
government. However, the Austrian doctors who treated him denied having found any evidence of this.
John Henry, a clinical toxicologist at St Mary's Hospital, London, and a consultant for Britain's National Poisons Information Service, points out
that current photos of Yushchenko's face show a dramatic transformation compared with a few months ago.
He says that Yushchenko's disfiguring acne is almost certainly 'chloracne', a characteristic symptom of dioxin poisoning.

In news accounts it is mentioned that Mr. Yushchenko's Austrian doctors have asked other experts in helping to figure out if his symptoms may have
been caused by toxins found in biological weapons.
If any of these suspicians about poisoning prove themselves out then fuel will be added to the fire that is potentially brewing in the Ukraine and
civil war will be one step closer.
