According to toxicologist John Henry at Imperial College, London University Viktor Yushchenko, Ukraine's opposition leader at the center of
Ukraine's controversial election is possibly suffering from "Cloracne" a condition that can be brought on by exposure to chemicals such as
dioxins.
A dramatic tranformation in Mr. Yushchenkos looks has been noticed in photographs since early August and late November when the election occured
leading to suspicion of poisoning.

Yushchenko, the leader of the opposition, was hospitalized with a mystery illness in September and later claimed that he had been poisoned by the
government. However, the Austrian doctors who treated him denied having found any evidence of this.
John Henry, a clinical toxicologist at St Mary's Hospital, London, and a consultant for Britain's National Poisons Information Service, points out
that current photos of Yushchenko's face show a dramatic transformation compared with a few months ago.
He says that Yushchenko's disfiguring acne is almost certainly 'chloracne', a characteristic symptom of dioxin poisoning.
Before and after photographs of
Mr. Yushcenko from August 2nd
and November 19th of this year.

In news accounts it is mentioned that Mr. Yushchenko's Austrian doctors have asked other experts in helping to figure out if his symptoms may have
been caused by toxins found in biological weapons.
If any of these suspicians about poisoning prove themselves out then fuel will be added to the fire that is potentially brewing in the Ukraine and
civil war will be one step closer.

Phoenix,
Thanks for reporting on this. I had not heard anything about this prior to your article, but had wondered what the heck was going wrong with him.
Just last night, watching the reports about the election contraversy I thought - is that the same man?
Something really does seem to be systemically wrong and I hope they pursue this.

You can get rid off the communist system, but you can't get rid of communists ways.
The good old "needle in the arm" to knock people out still goes on in former soviet states and dirty tricks still go on.

You can get rid off the communist system, but you can't get rid of communists ways.
That applies to the so-called "democracies" too, not just the communists. You don't need to look far to discover who is using the tactic of kill,
kill, kill, and kill some more, to install the political regimes they favor.

Without an actual phyiscal examination and only a prepared press photo and an unprepared snapshot to compare, well, there really isn't much to say.
Why hasn't Yuc had himself tested then anyway?

It is interesting the few times when something pops up in ats news articles and then slowly spreads to the 'main' news sites.
