Westboro Baptist Church founder Fred Phelps dies at 84: reports

Hate-spewing Westboro Baptist Church founder Fred Phelps Sr. has died at 84, the church and family members said.
The crackpot preacher died at Midland Care Hospice in Topeka, Kan., at around midnight Wednesday, family members said.
The hate-mongering pastor had been suffering from an unknown illness.

I really can't think of much more to add to this than, the world became a little bit nicer today... I know that's mean and not very nice to say, but he was a hate filled man...

Unfortunately, there's a lot more hate filled people still left on this earth. Someone will step up and take his place.

I saw a post by George Takei on his Facebook page today.....

Today, Mr. Phelps may have learned that God, in fact, hates no one. Vicious and hate-filled as he was, may his soul find the kind of peace through death that was so plainly elusive during his life.

I really like the way he handled this. He is a class act!

R.I.P Mr Phelps, I pray that his soul now finds peace & hope he has now seen the errors of his ways while he was in this existence.

I also hope he has a good turnout for his funeral, let see how his family react to people picketing his funeral.

God rest his soul.

Anyway, i think celebrating a death is disgusting regardless of how the person lived, it would just make them the same as you.

I did not celebrate death of Osama, Gaddafi, Saddam, Kim, and will not This guy.

I honestly think the "we are going to picket HIS funeral stuff is just fluffly fun stuff, I don't think (I could be very wrong) that many people would stoop to his level and actually follow through (again I could be very wrong)
