I had the impression they had filmed the Kirlian effect, but in real time, and in real colors... :O As if we were light being!

I predict the eye movement amplification will become a horrible animated gif right here. Cool OP, Thanks!

I wonder what all the different 9/11 footage would reveal in this manner.

just for giggles and testing I'm trying it on the first video in this thread link

I'm using the default of what they have set up for samples (baby2,camera,subway,shadow,guitar,face,face2)
what I did was saved the youtube video and renamed it to each of the samples.

The samples were an average of 20-25 seconds and took a few min to do all of them and since
the video I'm trying is over 3 min, might take some time but heck I'm trying it.

I'll post anything if there really is anything to post about.

UFO off gold coast Australia..just posted.
Now download the program..
Check to see if the UFO skips all over do to exaggerating the film.
My hunch the fakes will be overly jumpy and skippy.
Orrrr! If it is real ( idk what real is ) then the UFO will be smooth in motion X's exaggeration.

To the next poster..it would probably detect the " fake plane theory" ( which I don't subscribe to ) but give it a shot!

The guy in the video said ( he's wrong if he thinks that will protect him )
This is free to upload as long as its not used for commercial use..
100% sure it is already in the wrong hands for the worst use!

Def need to run 9/11 footage through this
See what kind of little motions come from it.
I hope it does explode though its a really interesting technique.

ermergerd ... first filter done and good thing I don't suffer form seizures. But taking 30 min to upload
so while that is uploading and the videos are getting there "filters" I am looking for collapse videos
one I found was 8 min "best angles" but that will really take forever for a test but could be worth it.

Also saved the Gold Coast of Australia vid that was mentioned gonna run that though as well.

The guy in the video says: We think that [the use of this technology] is going to explode. Yeah, unless illuminati gets their hands all over it.

In the demonstration video.
It shows the cranes exaggerated movements.

I can't help but wonder if the INSURANCE COMPANIES will use it to say..." hey we have to jack up your rates because the video shows to much swaying"

In fact..rates will go up across the board for all insurance if INSURANCE COMPANIES choose to apply this tech!

Off note! I'm Googling like a 13 y/o boy...I'm 40
How this will affect the porn industry

Wonder how the politicians will accept being filmed now? Within minutes
we could know what the lies were. KOOL.......

Thats a very interesting angle I hadn't considered. I could see this being extremely useful for lie detection and even facial recognition. Especially if it could be run in real time instead of post-process.

Just downloading everything needed, i'am going to try it out on that interview of that fake alien, just to see lol, i'll give feedback. But from what I have understood the def of the video needs to be quite good in order to function properly...

Ah, porn with blood pulses seen. Sounds interesting. As well as boxing, foot races, baseball, football, the list is endless.....it will be fun to see the first uploaded examples on ATS ("I am not a crook," says Nixon as the blood rushes to his face)

What, did I type porn? I meant Ping-Pong. This will be a great tool to view Ping-Pong matches with. Sure would.

By the way, I did try to watch the vid, and there was no vid on the OP link, at least on my machine. Can someone upload it? thanks.

On the link I provided earlier under "Code and Binaries"

you will see 64-bit Mac in the read me it has it was tested on Mac OS X 10.8 with 2GB RAM

also the read me says
"MacOS: run ./reproduce_results.sh
[if Matlab Compiler Runtime is installed in a directory other than
'/Applications/MATLAB/MATLAB_Compiler_Runtime/v80', the default path on Mac OS X 10.8,
run following in command line before running reproduce_results.sh:
MCR='path/to/MATLAB_Compiler_Runtime/v80'
export MCR]

NOTE MacOS Users: Strings of "This process is attempting to exclude an item from
Time MAchine by path without administrator privileges. This is not supported" appear.
They do not, however, affect the generated results. This applies also to processing
your own videos.

Make a folder called "data" in the root of the folder and put your video there
change the name of the video to one of the 7 default samples
or have 7 copies all named after the samples listed in the .sh/.bat
"baby2.mp4 , camera.mp4 , subway.mp4 , shadow.mp4 , guitar.mp4 , face.mp4 , face2.mp4 "

then run the program it will make a new folder of the results.

"To process your own videos:
---------------------------

Run the appropriate evm binary file (denote EVM_BIN):

Windows: evm.exe
Linux: ./run_evm.sh
MacOS: ./run_evm.sh

EVM_BIN vidFile outDir samplingRate magType lo hi alpha filterType [magnification_parameters]

vidFile: the input video file
outDir: directory under which the output video will be stored (the actual
name of the output video file is set automatically according to the
choice of filter, amplification, etc.)
samplingRate: the sampling frequency of video [Hz] (notice this may be different
from the frame rate of the actual video file)
magType: type of magnification (without quotes):
"color": for amplifying color
"motion": for amplifying motion
lo: low frequency cutoff [Hz]
hi: high frequency cutoff [Hz]
alpha: amplification factor
filterType: the type of temporal filter (without quotes)
"ideal" [default]
"butter" "

Once I figure out all the doo hicky nifty settings I'll start doing that , thats why I'm doing their samples
