Is there any way to make the archive search by year and exact date.

And I mean as close as the week before. there have been times I wanted to search for a thread that started on a date and I have to search the whole month. and I wanted to search for a date in january this year that a thread was started and can not find a way to do it unless I have some of the keywords in the thread. I am just wanting to see what was posted on a certain date.

Yeh the ats search function is abysmal
Its so basic, and not basic in a good way,

how hard would it be to embedd a google or yahoo engine to your site

the current ats search is featureless, confusing, and very bad

Check out my signature, the old search engine is in the area where the -- are, so I can reach it if I feel like it. The new search engine isn't bad though, and I use it most of the time, and on both of them you just have to put in several terms to get some results.

The old "ask.ats" still works....
