You mean the same drone that flies over 150 + miles into the country before being taken over right?

This is exactly what I was thinking, I mean I can give them the benefit of the doubt if they are waiting for U.N. sanctions first then go along, but if Pakistan stirs up anything with India over Kashmir, who do you think the Indians will be running to ? with all of the diversions happening in the world the Crimea land grab is entertaining for any nations that want to get a piece of land that they had the impression belonged to them in the first place, so entertaining they may want to follow suit.

That's fine. When Russia switches off the gas to the European nations, and I so deeply pray that they do, as a response to the EU sanctions, they can sell the surplus gas to India and all is good.

The west is going to have so much egg on it's filthy, ugly face when this situation ends.

As an American that scenario could be the best thing that ever happened to us.

It would be a painful decade or two for sure. I have little illusion about that. However I have zero doubt that we would recover as a nation. Perhaps when we recovered we would no longer be handing money out to every nation on earth (money we do not have). Of all the BRIICS nations is there one that has not received "humanitarian" loans and grants from our bone dry coffers in the recent past?

Yes. America needs to step back and let Russia go into debt giving away money to every third world country out there. Yea.... I doubt that will happen either. America the great Satan really does more than shotgun diplomacy. The world will discover the truth to those words soon enough.

People can hate us all the want, but they will miss us when we are gone

+ETA - Putin should know that if he wants to start a war he has to do it in early fall. That allows him to fall back into the winter defense when he is losing. It is the Russian winter that wins her wars. Every time.

That fight between them will never be over, Kashmir fight is just a tail end of the 2000 yr old war

Conversely the Crimea has been fought over and invaded just as long...

Linky

The history of the Crimean peninsula covers more than 2,000 years, with many different conquerors and settlers throughout time. The Cimmerians, Greeks, Scythians, Goths, Huns, Bulgars, Khazars, the state of Kievan Rus', Byzantine Greeks, Romans, Kipchaks, Ottoman Turks, Golden Horde Tatars and the Mongols all controlled Crimea in its early history. In the 13th century, it was partly controlled by the Venetians and by the Genovese; they were followed by the Crimean Khanate and the Ottoman Empire in the 15th to 18th centuries, the Russian Empire in the 18th to 20th centuries, the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic and later the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic within the Soviet Union. In 1991 it became part of independent Ukraine, as the Autonomous Republic Crimea together with the city of Sevastopol.

The countries in BRICS does not owe a lot.... how much does US owe China(BRICS) again?

The top countries that receive such aid.

Afghanistan
Israel
Iraq
Egypt
Jordan
Pakistan

Do you know who is in BRICS? *come on now, don't let me add you into the typical American stereotype.*

Aid is kinda subjective, US exploits many foreign countries for their own gain, which is type 'of "aid" as well.

Kashmir would remain with India its only the small section of the Kashmir Valley who wants Independence(which is laughable) 99% of the terrorists caught there are afghans, Pakistanis and Chechen's, not really Kashmirs .Besides the fight for Kashmir is for the fight of water resources not because Pakistan has some love for its people. India can block water to Pakistan anytime it wants.

Kashmir will never be independent , it will either be with China,India or Pakistan

Forget the BRICs; Meet the PINEs

Forget the BRICs; Meet the PINEs

While many emerging markets are taking a beating, a fantastic growth story in the developing world is widening and drawing in new countries

Emerging markets are taking a beating these days, most of all the famous BRIC economies — Brazil, Russia, India and China. These four once seemed poised to dominate a post-American world. Not anymore. Brazil and India are posting growth rates that are only a fraction of what they were a couple of years ago. Russia’s prospects, already hampered by an overbearing state, are unlikely to improve as its aggressive moves into Ukraine could force Europe and the U.S. to impose economic sanctions. Even mighty China, while still notching admirable growth, must confront rising debt and a distorted financial system. The supremacy of the emerging world suddenly seems very far off.

But look past these headline grabbers, and you’ll find other emerging economies continuing to show economic strength. So for now, forget the BRICs; take a look at the PINEs.

I understand full well that we use the "carrot and stick" mind set far too much.

We borrow from China and then give aid packages to China for humanitarian aid. Makes no sense. We BORROW money from them and then GIVE it to them. So, we owe them money for money we gave them.

Once we suffer a collapse that kind of idiocy will have to cease (at least I hope it will).

Granted we borrow far more than we give. I am not saying the two are equal. We do however borrow all the money we are giving away. That cannot be justified.

I am not a "typical" American. I am a patriot. I love my nation. I am a realist however. We have people running the show that are taking us down the wrong paths. We have had a leadership problem in America for over 40 years now and every President is worse than the one before. I don't blame Bush and give Obama a Pass. I don't Blame Obama and praise Bush. Every one of our last eight Presidents made horrible foreign and domestic policy decisions. When combined they have placed us in our current situation.

From the Shah to trickle down economics to NAFTA to the Patriot Act to Obamacare it all leads to collapse. Our nation was weakened by our own leadership and a weakened nation invites attack (military or diplomatic). Our people haven't weakened however, that is why I am a patriot and why I say we will survive and we will recover in time.

It makes sense, I do not know why more people are not focusing on BRICS, does it not make sense that the International Banksters will do anything to stop this from happening and on the flip side of course India/China will be behind Russia, the power is shifting in the world, that is all there is too it.

nato is a wolf in sheep clothing, if they bring down russia, china is next, and then world hegemony for nato.

either china and india stand with russia or the west will destroy them one at a time.

as to iraq, syria, libya, afganistan, etc the war machine marches on.

today russia, next iran, next venezuela, etc, this war machine must be stoped, thank god for putin and russia who stand in the way of world ensalvement by the imf and wall street.

the few countries that still have national governments must stand up tp globilization, where corporations will rule and humans no longer matter.

The West are China and India's best customers and helped them develop their growing economies.

BRICS are far more powerful than given credit to, hell not many people in the west even know what it is. Then have like 3-4Billion populations of the earth.

As person who works in Drug/testing field, our companies are shifting everything to CHINA/INDIA/BRAZIL.

According to them "that is where everything is going to be", West is a stale market, nothing is getting better, same old same old.

That's because the governments through corpratocracy have allowed major corporations to strangle competition. Without competition, there is no reason to improve your product.

That is interesting, but can they really topple BRICS? i mean, those countries population is pretty low, not sure of their GDP either.

edit: could be kinda like the "beginner's luck" so far for PINES.

I have pondered this possibilty myself however, I am an optimist by nature and tend to think of things in a spiritual nature, so too me, the banksters have simply been playing out one side of the coin of existence, that of pure evil! I believe their time is up and it may get rocky but we are on our way to finding our connection to source and will inevitably embody the divine beings that we are

I mean really even with their very impressive gameplan to enslave the world, we still see human ingenuity coming through, no matter how much they try to cripple us,those who turn off the tv and tune into our intuiton will continue to stop them in their tracks.

They rule with the illusion of complete control and I feel as though their crash is coming and through our collective Karma we shall all feel it but # what can you do this is all an illusion anyways! May as well laugh along with the gods!!
