not movie, TV show. Almost Human. Look it up its absolutely fascinating. I'd say it paints the future world as closest as it is going to possibly be.

I love the show

Karl Urban again

Must admit I am intrigued about "The wall" they mention but do not go into too much detail about.

I hope the original and not the remake lol.
I hate chest pumping movies which ever way they represent but the remake make me puke a little in my mouth lol.

The future envisaged in Terminator seems most likely to me at some point the machines are going to want us pesky humans out of the way.

Only If we program them with human traits.

Plus isn't there a code of robotics which will stop them going mental on us?.

In the future we have really bad special effects and actors. David Hasselholff with a light-sabre!

I must of missed this one, thank god.

That film has me torn...while I think the space exploration is great in it, the eugenics part of it made me shudder.
Good film though.

Absolutely horrible idea but I can see this in the very near future.
Reading about "designer babies" is even more disturbing.

I too love sci-fi apocalyptic films but I also enjoy books.

Have you ever read Make Room Make Room by Harry Harrison? If not I suggest it, it is where we are headed. Overcrowding, not enough food, heat, water etc... Any spare room in anyone's home or apartment is up for grabs and will be given away. So no home to yourself. The story centers around a detective on a specific murder case but it goes into great deal about the overcrowing of cities. Everyone on government rations
only a few select politicians live well and can afford real meat and cheese and water.
I see this book as our future.

As far as movies go there are so many, yes to 1984 but that is a given.

I see something like The Stand with or without religion as its base. All it takes is one person to get out and bam the end for most of us.
