unsavoury untimely news r.e lost , and missing airline plane

so ive been on yahoo uk and the first news article being shown is advertising / reporting of the tv series lost.. now in my eyes this is massively diss tasteful in regards to a current malaysian missing plane.

am i being nitt picking .. or is yahoo a step over the line this time?

i mean that is the last thing families and friends would want to see

my thoughts are with all at this uncertain time.

when i heard of the missing plane, I thought directly about LOST.

but refrained from the jokes.

I'm not familiar with the show. Why is this distasteful in regards to the missing plane?
