This is the first time I'v heard the term "frost quake", and it was when I was driving around listening to the news on the am dial.
Just hearing the word "quake" in my hometown Calgary was a bit odd... I had to google it when I got home.

What is a frost quake? This picture can describe it better then I can with words. lol

Seismology sleuths may have tracked down the source of a mysterious vibration that shook homes and echoed throughout the northwest this week.

A series of clues have led university researcher David Eaton to believe a schoolyard in Panorama Hills was the likely epicentre of what may have been a rare frost quake.

This crack, at Captain Nichola Goddard School in Panorama Hills, may be the source of a loud booming noise heard Monday night.

Frost quake gains credence as big boom theory.

Anyone here from Calgary hear or feel this? Or has anyone else experienced anything like this before???
