If you've read the initial thread on the matter, and I know you have, the reports of it landing in China, escorted by Chinese military jets, is what I've been saying occurred for over 100 pages of that thread.
I don't believe it was necessary for all the electronic mumbo jumbo to have this happen. A gun to the head would get the transponders turned off pretty quickly.

that's exactly what I was thinking. just from a casual stroll through google last night, I was able to drum this very same idea
even though I think Iran might have something to do with it..........this is actually my first post but i'll giv er my best shot

this next link is from the first one..... I just didn't want anyone to miss it

Iran Attack Plan?

you see I had quite a lot to think about while I was at work. and I was thinking of how the u.s. and briton, sort of.....I dunno share tech sometimes. china may be open to, although not known for this sort of thing, backing a country like iran in the face of a daunting enemy such as Israel and "the west" to achieve an upper hand when the "plan" the bankers have dreamed up goes through.
I think there may be a lil bit of a war of the wisest creeping up on us...... call it cold war 2?

I was curious if anyone knows if there is some kind of a worldwide database, where they dump radar records that anyone can retrieve. Does anybody know about anything like that? I'm surprised that they're coming up on cloaking technology, and yet there's nothing like that. All I know is that when something fishy like this goes on, all of society pretends to be low-tech. And they want us all to pretend it is too.

US investigators are pursuing the possibility that missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 and its 239 passengers and crew are being held against their will at an unknown location.

The Wall Street Journal has this afternoon published sensational claims that counterterrorism officials now believe somebody on board deliberately turned off the plane’s transponders to avoid radar detection.

The report said data automatically downloaded and sent to the ground from the Boeing 777’s engines indicated the plane remained in the air for a total of five hours – a further four hours after contact was lost.

interesting..

Chinese have enough money to attract any engineer they want. Engineers are mostly falling for a lot of money no matter where it comes from. My opinion is that they know what happened with the plane: China and America know it, and maybe a lot of other rulers. I think it was simply a bomb. A terrorist attack. What you better never do is saying it was a terrorist attack. That is simply no good idea. You give the terrorist what they want: publicity. You scare people. You hurt the country and the economy. You’re safety reputation is sinking and so on. Now they are playing the game of not knowing what happened. Waiting and investigating and gaining time. And at the end everything will be investigated again … it will be a technical problem … officially …
I want remember you but you seem to be a smart guy. But maybe you’re searching it too far.
And still one thing: don’t think superpowers like America, China, Russia … are enemies. Only the sub rulers are. The real rulers of this planet are friends. But that’s a long story …

Whatever the true reason for this is, decompression/explosion/hijacking, I sure can't wait to hear how it pans out.

Interesting Hypothesis though, and the fact that there is a motive included, makes it all the more thought provoking.

Yeah, this conspiracy makes a whole lot of sense. The Chinese somehow hijack a plane bound for China, loaded with 229 passengers, to kidnap some stealth technology technicians and/or experts rather than let them fly directly to China to do business or work there. Not!

And if their computer hacking is working so well, why do they need to kidnap people for industrial espionage?

1. You don't want the USA to know that they have obtained the intelligence, like the enigma
2. Even the USA isn't stupid enough to have all its intellectual property on PC's.
3. You think people would rather work for the Chinese government or the USA government?

It isn't that hard to comprehend. kidnap flight, execute everyone but the scientists. go and drop the plane.. everyone thinks everyone perished in the flight, the Chinese are free to force the scientists to work for the Chinese military.

Terrorists would have claimed it. whats the point in blowing up a plane if no one ever knows why?

Also, I think the USA would consider its scientists developing incredible technologies for the US military TREASON if they went to china for bigger dollars.

Today the USA said that china's satellite find of plane wreckage was a red herring.... those are very peculiar words!

Excellent theory.
My first thought after I heard about the semiconductor engineers being on board was that China would sure like to have those people.
Can hardly accuse them of something so dastardly without touching off a firestorm.
Maybe this was supposed to be a joint US/Chinese false flag operation to be blamed on Iran but we got double crossed by China.

Great thread OP. I've only read the first page so far so hopefully nobody brought this up yet, but I just have one question on the idea of a hijacking. It was mentioned in another thread that there was probably at least 200 cell phones on board with there being 239 persons and everyone has a phone these days, so how would they take it over without at least one person getting off a quick text or call? Could they disable all the phones on the plane at the same instant without damaging the plane's electronics to keep flying? I know something like an EMP could take out all electronics, but then the plane would crash as well, and in this situation, it appears that the plane kept flying. Also, if all the phones were destroyed at the same instant it might explain how the phones kept ringing to. They'd have to have some technology that zaps all the phones without destroying any other electronics.

Have we considered the thought that the engineers themselves maybe had job offers with China and were willing to defect/become Chinese nationals? What a great way to "disappear" and continue your work for a foreign power.

The issue i have is despite the evidence that the passports were purchased by an Iranian man and there were Iranian nationals on the plane, i don't really believe that Iran had a hand in the disappearance of the jet. Like some have speculated, the whole Iran slant could be a diversion to take our suspicions away from the Chinese.

We're already deep in the pocket with them and they make about 98% of our products, so i guess better to focus on a country that has historically hated us...although there is a push by Iranians to be more America-friendly.

Just my take on the whole thing

I love the theory---good stuff.

But could the Chinese really pull this off? Do they have the resources, the psychopathic tendency, the balls, and the wherewithal to defend themselves if discovered?

Would they really want to upset their relationship with the US---and other countries for this technology? Would there have been an easier way to do this then killing 250 people?

Personally I believe there may be other nation-states (or even non-state entities) involved in this, but if we're looking at China. Your questions about Chinese resources, psychopathic tendency, balls and wherewithdal to defend themselves if caught? Um. Yes!

It is well known that China boasts superior manpower in their army, they have nuclear weapons, they ARE on very friendly terms with USSR - wait, sorry, Russia, they have their eyes set on space exploration and perhaps even the interest of creating first bases outside Earth, why not have a boost to their tech to get there? I would never underestimate the Chinese being willing or capable to pull off something like this, heck, even something more outlandish.

To those saying: "The engineers could just be 'bought' " - uh, NO. That would leave a paper trail and have pretty nasty diplomatic implications as well as what might happen to family and friends of the engineers.

To those saying: "Freescale isn't that big a deal, they are small time" - You would really believe that? Freescale back in the days of olde when part of Motorola IIRC, were involved in the Apollo program. Feel free to investigate that. They have their fingers currently in many pies in various areas of telecommunications, chip arrays etc. If they ARE contracted to the DoD, I doubt what exactly is being worked on will be made public. I would like to note though, that Freescale are in financial trouble. Apparently they are being investigated after their IPO a couple of years ago.

Delivery System?

When I heard that the plane had flown another several hours after contact was lost, I immediately thought that some extremist group finally got their hands on a nuke, but had no viable delivery system and would rig this tragically lost, but actually diverted, plane to be their human guided internationally bound delivery system... once the search stopped. No odd purchases, paper trails or activities to expose the plot. Such a group would only need to create enough delay or confusion in response to crater their target before being taken out themselves.

I really like your theory much better, and while I don't trust China's interests will ever include ours intentionally, I may sleep a little better now.

I agree, I think we are looking at the crime of the century here. I'm going to see if there is any more missing space/weapon related people. It just seems like history is repeating itself right now. Correct me if I'm wrong but Hitler did the same sort of thing. Not the whole hijacking thing, but acquiring technology by force. This time its just not a country..... But a company that wants to take over. One with say a private army. I wonder what those boys down at blackwater think about that executive order that came out on the 6th if they really were in Ukraine.

my only thought is, i they knew how to disable the transponders and cockpit comms equipment then disabling the on-board mobile phone comms wouldn't be much of a reach either.

or, perhaps something was placed into the air duct to put everyone to sleep immediately after take off? much easier to hijack a plane if everyone's doped up fast asleep!

Now, the chinese want you to believe they detected it crashing into the ocean near Vietnam
news.xinhuanet.com...

BEIJING, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese researchers have detected a "seafloor event" near the waters between Malaysia and Vietnam, an area suspected to be linked with the missing Malaysian jetliner MH370, a university announced on Friday.

The event occurred at about 2:55 a.m. local time on Saturday, about one and a half hours after the plane's last definitive sighting on civilian radar.

The area, 116 km northeast from where the last contact with the Boeing plane was recorded, used to be a non-seismic region, according to a research group on seismology and physics of the earth's interior under the University of Science and Technology of China.

But the US says they have evidence it was on the OTHER Side of Malaysia flying west hours after it was last seen on Radar

This, is a SETUP!
