A good turn out cheers all.
Good to see Iam not alone in my feelings.
I just wonder is it all from the Revolutionary war we had soooo many years ago? I hope not because none of us were there and none of us did anything in it lol.

The Brits that I've encountered on here are just the sweetest human beings ever.
I'm American.

I totally agree with you on your rant. Just thinking about how sweet you guys are yesterday and then this post came today.

Well said!

S & F absolutely.

Ha, well, it could be the old Revolution. I lean however, simply to the bossy and mean.

Sometimes I find that people isolate themselves from the global community in ways of thinking. Yes, we are all of one nationality or another, but it's always good to remember we are also part of the global community.

How very kind of you

Never been called sweet before lol.
I love you Americans also very determined, self sufficient, funny and I would love to come over and have a pint with you all.

Maybe we should be like our Canadian brothers or the Aussies cos they appear much more chilled lol

Maybe it's the beer?
It's weird. Geographically, we're miles away from one another, but Canada and Australia seem to be the closest culturally, or mindset.
Canada and the US are next door neighbours, and are so, soooo different from one another.

Sometimes that determination steps over boundaries.
The self sufficiency, can leave one isolated from the rest of the world, and out of touch.
We can be funny, but who the hell thinks they could ever outdo Ab Fab? Or Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) or... I could go on, but obviously, I am partial to my particular Brit Coms.

Maybe it's because you refuse to accept us.

Hey we can make some good micro-brews here. We're not all apes. Sorry BoyMonkey.

I have had many Beers from the states...real ones..real ale type ones.
San Francisco brewery is awesome.
I believe you call them Hopheads over there?.

In fact we had a month of USA beers in our Weatherspoon pubs a while back, little brewarys around the UK had the brewers from the states over to make a load of beer.
I was very drunk...many times over that month.

So thats another thing we have in common BEER!!!

I don't wish the following to commence a pissing match, as it is not the TS's intent of the OP, but what I highly respect is that British actors are real, and their popularity based on raw talent and not T&A. One finds such vast difference between the Film climate of Britain vs. Hollywood.

In Hollywood beauty surpasses talent by far. We have excellent actors yes, but it is all about beauty more than talent. Not like the film stars or even the quality of film of long ago.

Yes. I said it. I expect shoes and other such however, be forewarned, after having rolled about in a vehicle unexpectedly this last week, shoes or assorted rotten veggies wouldn't have an impact.

I love it how a great bad guy has to be British

Star wars all the empires dudes had Brit accents, I loved it.
I think because our history goes back a long time with acting etc that we teach the craft well RADA etc.
Mind you some of my fave actors are American.

Well, I will say two things: Tim Roth and Gary Oldman. And Tim Roth.

I agree hopefully one day no nations just earthlings...I know many see that as bad and a one world government but to progress to the next stage of civilization it has to come...long after all of us are dead alas.

I appreciate the romantic notion of a federation of planets someday but, as it turns out, socialist totalitarianism isn't how you achieve that goal.
