So laying in bed and I hear a loud jet curious like I am I wanted to see what was flying over. Not a typical plane an antanov design bureau, an antanov 124 plane. It's descending just west of London now at last time I looked 8,000 feet


Just gone over Oxford at 8,000 feet and holding altitude

Cheers thanks I may have a read later off fishing soon. Reading the comment I flicked onto fr24 and spotted this. It's probably nothing but the lack of details interested me and maybe someone could shed some light as to why it's not showing anything.

Well the queens up late just spotted this on fr24. The queens helicopter .. Quite surprised this came up

I think the question should be where did it originate from? What was it doing in the US if not just stopping for fuel coming from somewhere else.

They used to send their 707s and C-130s through Hickam all the time. We'd occasionally get F-111s through too when they flew them.

I use fr24 a lot especially when I'm bored. Using the airline search function I look out for (I don't know why) the Dubai Air Wing, Russian Air Force, RAAF and the USAF. Whenever I spot a RAAF plane it's usually a tanker flying across the states I just presumed they trained over there

Then I saw the one I posted thought it was a strange flight path but forgot where Australia was lol. Temporary lapse in brain power yesterday :p

Old thread i know but spotted something a week or so ago that seemed interesting.



I googled the aircraft and it's registration number and apparently the aircraft is used by the UKs spy service and metropolitan police.
