I find it strange they could not tell if the lions were male or female, especially given their country of origin.

Sorry about accident. My husband was hit by a snow plow twice on foot and it sure f'd him up too. I feel for you.

it says her screams caused the lions to mistake her for a lion cub.

But I also observe such protective instincts even in dogs and they will also respond in kind to other other animal species crying in distress.

Seems to be a mammalian thing.


Yea, respond to a easy meal.

These are savage, meat eaters, some will even eat each other.
