I'm no historian, and even my WWII knowledge is sparce, especially the US/Japanese side of things!

I can only think Mr.Roosevelt felt every avenue had been exhausted in the sense of ending it quickly, and even then he could only go with intel he's been given, so he receives no blame in my books! Nor the US as a whole!

Probably wouldn't have been long before those Kamikazes hit major cities & landmarks either given the said unpredictability!


Like I said hindsight gives us a bit more perspective...
With "what ifs", "who knows" & "if only" mindsets like my own...
However I won't judge... What's done is done!

I just pray that Intelligence prevails in our era!!!

What is the point of making these kind of comments?
