I noticed it too, a couple of months ago when I was browsing through several websites of the CIA, NRO etc... A special website for kids... you cant be young enough, they must have thought.


Today, the results are bizarre - cryptographic coloring books, drug-sniffing dog cartoons, and spy-satellite sing-alongs. Are they giant inside jokes? Coded messages? Only Uncle Sam knows for sure.

Follow the ATS mantra... "When in doubt, post it in RATS..."

Joking aside, I think this is just an attempt to make the aforementioned websites "friendly". Today's access via the internet(s) enables children (and even some adults) to explore realms that were previously the purview of fiction. I think it's commendable that steps are being taken to indoctrinate the curious.
