There is always false data around a crash in the early hours. The Nanming story also had them flying on their normal course straight across Vietnam.

If contact had been lost at two hours the flight would have already been across Vietnam airspace, so fuel wouldn't have been a problem.
Well Vietnam pretty much plays ball with China. So if China said it "didn't happen" then one would expect the Vietnamese to say the same and then follow along with the ruse.

Because the oil slick is confirmed to be jet fuel,..."

Can you provide a link to that? Perhaps I missed it in a previous page, but I haven't seen this confirmed by any agency.

"...There is definitely foul play happening here.
I am of this opinion but I must admit I am a little perplexed because you then follow up with this.

"My theory is that they realize there was a mechanical problem, so they started dumping the fuel. Then for some reasons, someone opened the emergency door and the whole cabin is depressurized and almost everyone got sucked out of the plane body. The pilots realized this and made a U-turn and finally crashed at the last known coordinate shown in the image."
So where is the definitive "foul play" in your theory? Your theory seems to be in the realm of accidental and not intentional.

I'm not saying you are wrong or right but I do think you are saying two different things. Can you clear that up? Also thank you for the images, I do think they are helpful in understanding the areas in question.

Uhm, no. China and Vietnam have actively shot at each other in confrontations over the Spratly Islands. China has bullied them as much as everyone else in the region.

I'll add, the Nanming stories didn't have any info on the flight path. It was just reported they landed in Nanming.

Here's one report from The Nation

Malaysia Airlines verifying report that missing plane lands in Nanming March 8, 2014 10:51 am Malaysia Airlines are working to verify the authenticity that its flight MH370 that had lost contact with traffic control has reportedly landed in Nanming, Group CEO Ahmad Jauhari Yahya said Saturday. In his statement, he confirmed that the flight had lost contact with Subang Air Traffic Control at 2.40am, today. It It departed Kuala Lumpur at 12.41 am earlier this morning bound for Beijing. The aircraft was scheduled to land at Beijing International Airport at 6.30am local Beijing time. "We are deeply saddened this morning with the news on MH370. There has been speculation that the aircraft has landed at Nanming. We are working to verify the authenticity of the report and others," he said. He apparently referred to Nanming in China. The flight was carrying a total number of 239 passengers and crew - comprising 227 passengers (including 2 infants), 12 crew members. The passengers were of 14 different nationalities from; China - 152 plus 1 infant, Malaysia - 38, Indonesia - 12, Australia - 7, France - 3, United States of America - 3 pax plus 1 infant, New Zealand - 2, Ukraine - 2, Canada - 2, and one each from Russia, Italy, Taiwan, Netherlands and Austria. The flight was piloted by Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, 53, a Malaysian. He has a total flying hours of 18,365 hours and joined Malaysia Airlines in 1981. First officer, Fariq Ab.Hamid, a Malaysian, 27 and has a total flying hours of 2,763 hours. He joined Malaysia Airlines in 2007. Our focus now is to work with the emergency responders and authorities and mobilize its full support. Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected passengers and crew and their family members, Ahmad said. He referenced it to clear up the false speculation that it landed safely somewhere. And where did it originate? Twitter.

Are any of these rumors true?

Unfortunately, no. All these rumors have been debunked. The source seems to have simply been Twitter hearsay.

And before you have to ask why the CEO would reference reports from Twitter, I'll say it again: to end the false speculation about it being safe. That's what you do when false info is going around, you correct it.

Even finding users (such as kefli_nawawi) on Twitter who made claims about a friend being on the flight and landing in Nanming also later said it landed in Hong Kong. Then later acts as though he never said either of those things and talks about it still being missing. That's Twitter.

I also didn't see the specifics you mentioned about it landing in Nanming. I just saw a fairly basic claim that it landed there along with very easy to find info about the crew and passengers.

They didn't reference a flight path because there was no need to. The aircraft allegedly flew two hours of a roughly seven hour flight, which would have been along the normal planned flight path.

You don't say "Our plane landed in Nanming after flying the scheduled flight path". You mention the flight path if it was different.

As for the CEO, some high ranking United officials swore up and down that Flight 93 landed in Cleveland. They go by reports too when they can't contact their aircraft.

Hey, until proven otherwise, my theory is as valid as the next. Actually it has more believability given all the other evidence thus far - the passports, the semiconductor people and the turn then vanishing from radar. So I'll stick with it

Guiyang National New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone

Great place for semiconductor folk.

Edit:

Guiyang National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Welcomes Investors

The Zone is described as “one district, seven parks,” which include the National Digital Content Industrial Park, the National Torch Plan Software Industry Base, the National New Industrialization Demonstration Base, the National (Guiyang) Chip Component Industry Park, the National Electronic Components High-Tech Industrialization Base, the National Scientific Trade Innovation Base (High-End Equipment Manufacture), and the National Modern Service Industry (Digital Content) Industrialization Base. The purpose of these multiple parks, centers, bases and other subdivisions is to promote top research institutions located in the Zone, to provide professional technology services, to establish the pilot base to execute the construction and operation, and to establish the province’s data processing center. The focus of the three projects, which include Talent Selection and Education, The Talents Project, and the Talent Habitat Project, is to attract and retain the best and brightest talent- educators, researchers, and engineers.

They have a whole boat load of information that they aren't telling us. Guaranteed. This isn't the Air France flight that went down in an exotic location----close to the equator and so far out to sea. It took days to even get to a relevant location with Air France, but not so here.

Now the focus should be on why they've decided not to tell us what they know.

Hate to sound the conspiracy air horn but even the MSM has decided something's up.

UPDATE [10:04pm]: About 20 top management staff from semiconductor company Freescale Semiconductor were among 38 Malaysians onboard MAS flight MH370. The team comprising senior managers and managers were on their way to China to undergo a month-long course in Beijing. Full story here.

Freescale are one of the worlds first and leading semiconductor manufacturers. Specialising in industrial semiconductors and controllers, including those with military applications. Not only do they provide hardware to companies like Raetheon amongst others, but also have a history of partnership as part of DARPA/defence funded research. Freescale were bought out (in 2006) by a consortium that includes the Carlyle group (Bush sr. et al) and Blackstone.

Recently they developed this:

singularityhub.com...

Likely this all amounts to nothing, even with recent reports that the US are concerned about and investigating the terrorist angle. 20 top management staff from a cutting edge US tech manufacturer, who develop and supply scifi industrial and military hardware all being on a flight heading to China, which suddenly disappears and whose last point of contact may have been with US forces, is probably more just tragic coincidence than evidence of something more unusual.

Honestly though, I hope there are survivors and my heart goes out to the families and friends who had loved ones on board.

With what Kinetis KL02 chip, you could have a micro-controller inside a bullet sized missile for a regular military weapon. There are already electronic range-finding systems for rifles. Imagine having a bullet-cam.

If that work was so critical why were 20 workers employed from China or even on the same flight together? Many companies use a third-party booking company that deliberately books flights so no more than a handful of employees are on any flight.

Interesting and never knew that, but it makes sense to have valued and critical personnel on staggered flights and travel arrangements. Like families traveling separately in case of disaster.

So what do they benefit from this? A handful of low level workers that were going to China anyways? You do realize that they were heading to Beijing for training, right? And that the more important people, the 29 managers, weren't even on the flight.

www.bizjournals.com...

According to The Malaysian Insider, an English-language Malaysian news website, the 20 Freescale workers confirmed as passengers on the missing flight were part of a larger group of 29 managers en route to Beijing from Malaysia for a month-long training course. The remaining nine were scheduled to fly to Beijing on a separate flight.

For something as big as making a 777 vanish out of the air and causing an major international scene, you would think they would care more about the higher ups rather than a bunch of trainees.

You didn't even read your link correctly. Only nine were not on the flight. If they arrived in Bejing safely they would have to return that way. If the plane is missing, so are they.

With each passing hour, the impossible creeps closer to becoming reality. This press conference going on now in Malaysia (05.00 CET) is almost creepy. These guys are absolutley baffled, calling this incident an "unprecedented airline mystery". 40 ships. 22 planes. The best optical and electronic sensors are being used. Nothing.

What could the impossible be? Perhaps a combination of a JAL 1628 mothership and the Valentich disappearence. Snatched in mid-flight. It's crazy....until it isn't.

I guess I mis-read it. Still, they were going to Beijing anyways. It would have been a lot less risky to kidnap them there than to steal an entire 777 (and somehow not have any mayday call, radar blip or eyewitnesses at the airport). Though yea, it would have been an obvious kidnapping, but did they think people wouldn't realize who was on the plane and question why zero evidence of plane was found?

You also have to think that if something happened (like people taking control of the plane) then the pilots would have sent out a signal. Why wasn't that done? If someone did successfully take over the plane without a signal being sent then why didn't any passengers call someone? Apparently their phones are still in working condition (which makes the whole thing even stranger, as if they were abducted and taken to China you would think they would destroy the phones or power them off, and if the plane was destroyed then the phones would also be destroyed).

Why are missing passenger's mobile phones still ringing?

At least one relative of a Chinese passenger on board the missing flight has successfully been able to ring his mobile phone - but nobody answers.

Eerie video footage emerged of the family of the missing man ringing his phone live on state television.

The call connected, but no one picked up.

A group of passengers have reportedly handed a petition to Malaysia Airlines to reveal "the real truth" about what happened to the flight.

malaysiandigest.com...

Of course, it's entirely possible that person forgot his phone somewhere, but couldn't the cell company check data for that number/phone to see where it is?

I do agree that something is weird with this, but I just cannot hop on the wagon of it being taken control of Chinese citizens/government and secretly landing at a somewhat busy international airport (27th busiest in China).

It almost seems more like Malaysia had something to do with it than China. How long was it before they announced they had lost the plane? Something like 6 1/2 hours?

This whole incident is so weird that I don't know where to even begin making sense. Either there's more to it than we have been told or it is the most amazing-weird phenomena ever experience in modern day.

I'm no expert but the following are my observations:

  • I've read that the black box has a beacon that will transmit for about a month before it stops sending any signal
  • The majority of the time, if there is anything suspicious , two IFF signals are triggered by the pilot if he has time (Hijack and Emergency) none of which were known to have happened.
  • In the event it was a terrorist attack and the airplane blew up, the block box beacon system will kick in, which it didn't happen
  • If all failed and there were no early warnings then there has to be some sort of debris, even a tiny one floating somewhere (even the space shuttle after it disintegrated, debris were found)
  • If any military had something to do with it, they can't possibly hide all that debris (can they?) in such a short period of time.

So this brings me to the reason why I posted this, have we given any thought to a possible natural phenomena?

I know that the Devil's Sea (Triangle) is so far away, but all I've been thinking about Flight 307 disappearance is the Berbuda Triangle incidents from years and years ago.

Perhaps this is the modern day Bermuda Triangle?
(I did say it will sound weird and perhaps unrealistic)
