You can still be married to someone, be separated and have another partner.
It is my understanding that Philip Wood was in the process of moving from Malaysia to Beijing to be with Sarah.
Edit to add: Also Mike, your source on Mr Bajc is old, last updated in 2011

Yeah and in all other pilot suicide/murders, planes were ditched upon takeoff or just after take off, into the ground or sea. not 7 or 8 hours afterward.

If she's saying she has a life with Philip Wood, yet I find evidence that she's actually married to Stephen Bajc and has 3 children and they all live in Bejing, I should call that what? A fib or a misunderstanding? No it's a lie.

I just found something very revealing about the fraud Sarah Bajc. Notice that she always refers to Philip Wood as her partner. Not her boyfriend, not her husband, but her partner. That's because Sarah has a husband named Stephen, and 3 children, and they all live in Bejing! She is a liar!

I have no official qualifications as a behaviorist. But it's well known that one of the signs that someone is not telling the truth is a rapid increase in the blink rate. Another obvious sign of deception is when the eyes are cast downwards. I'm aware of those 2 signs

Well, it could.
But, if you wanted to die, would you go on a magical mystery tour for 7 or 8 hours with 238 other people or would you rather die as soon as you could? Why prolong your suffering?

I haven't heard of Philip Woods brothers and haven't seen them doing any interviews so I can't make a judgement on them. What are they saying? If Sara was living in Bejing how did she meet Paul if he doesn't live there? I read some things on one of her sites that leads me to believe what I do.
Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) director-general Azharuddin Abdul Rahman has dismissed reports that the missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370 made a loop during the air turn back.
"The aircraft did not make a loop, it is not true," he said, referring to the different aircraft's trajectory which had been leaked to the public, at the routine press conference today.
Recordings of the Malaysia military radar had indicated the possibility that MH370 could have made an air turn back to KL International Airport (KLIA).
The diagram released by the Ministry of Transport however showed that MH370 made a sharp turn, and not a loop as claimed by several parties.

Do you mean Philip, not Paul?
I admit I muddled up the Malay/Beijing thing, he was in the process of moving FROM Bejing to Malaysia to be with Sarah. This was supposed to be one of his last trips back to China.
And how they met? Gosh knows. Maybe in Beijing. Maybe even on the internet.
After two years living together in Beijing, where they met in 2011 in a bar called "Nashville," the couple were planning a move to Malaysia. Wood flew from Kuala Lumpur on March 8 to help Bajc finish packing up their Beijing apartment.
They found a dream apartment in the Malaysian capital within walking distance of their two jobs — Wood still with IBM, and Bajc teaching business and economics at a British school. This Friday, they had planned a spring break trip there, ahead of her final move in June.
Bajc and her 17-year-old son still plan to go to Malaysia. They will fly there with an empty seat where Wood should have sat.
Surviving on three to four hours sleep a night, Bajc has continued to work days at her job and returning daily to a home full of packing boxes. Her father died a month ago and she had surgery on an injured wrist, so was packing house with one hand.
