No it came from the expert on CNN - Piers Morgan was hosting it around Midnight EST.

Yeah, that wasn't the same broadcast that had "Speed-Walker" / Bill Nye on it? was it?

Yes - that was it.

Welcome!!!

My initial thinking towards your 1st paragraph led me to believe that anything other than Ukraine-Russia was needed as a distraction to the Western population, not so much a premeditated investment on the Western Front!

Your theory makes sense though, but it'd be a great risk to attempt this covert approach towards the East & Far East from the US!
Then again what better time than while they are busy making sure Crimea doesn't turn into a melting pot!!!

Although to get around Chinese & Russian intelligence would be unfathomable IMO!!!
Unless they were too busy watching what the left hand does...
But two heads are better than one & I'm sure either Russia or China was watching the Hidden Hand to cover the others back!

Peace Splodge!

Exactly, the #'s got real. Geographically, they have China to worry about, politically, the US. Now this! Hobson's choice: damned if they do, damned if they don't.

aren't incubation periods for some of the most deadly diseases like smallpox around 7-10 days before they become contagious? evidently there has yet to be any credible groups that have come forward to claim the event. at least that's what we're told. what if that's because the 'event' has completely unfolded yet?

any news blips about CDC events being cancelled, postponed? maybe the movement of military assets are not in helping a search but more for a quarantine?

We are approaching day 7.
Can we rule out that the plane has crashed in the sea ?
I say this because by now the floating debris (wherever they are located ) would at least have been seen by someone in the area ( fishermen, container ship etc.. ).

Oh now that would be twisted, kidnap a flight with the intent of infecting the passengers and hold them until they're contagious. That would require a good deal of coordination on all associated fronts, but I suppose it could be done.

Human ammo: spreading virulent disease upon release. Could it be done? I think the logistics lean more towards no, but it could be worth looking into. Didn't a hemorrhagic fever vial in cold storage go missing somewhere recently?

I'm guessing the Chinese are going to find a tail section or a wing in the next 24hrs.

Out near the oil rig.

Welcome!!!

Thanks for the welcome. My very very first thought was this was a distraction in terms of media coverage but the way it spread through the media across the world and was sustained at such an intense pitch, it seemed to be more than that. People are capable of following two stories at a time and events in Crimea are still being covered by MSM.

It's not so great a risk if you ensure you involve your allies such as Australia, India, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore - all have either airforce or navy involved in the search.

i agree, lots of logistics involved but if they've made it this far...

if you just wanted to spread it there's other ways to do it. with a plane...refuel, take off, low level flights over populated areas like europe, etc and drop them out? shoot it out of the sky? that would be additionally shocking, terrorizing. plus it would still disperse. if it's in play already then you circle the wagons. or in this case warships to contain the situation to certain areas.

No problem

Well it's true there was a lot of speculation and unconfirmed sources of "important info" from Western Media...
I didn't pay much attention to be honest, I either got my updates from this Thread or from Xinhua!
Xinhua hasn't entertained a single piece of speculation which is proper journalism IMO!

Yeah that makes even more sense if it was planned across the board!!!
I wouldn't count Japan because right now they seem to have China & US in a tug-of-war for allegiance!!!

But even without Japan, this theory is still possible!

Peace S!

I tend to agree but why do you say that? In my opinion this may be SAR effectiveness issue more than anything else. It is hard for most people to imagine what is involved in coordinating an effort like this. It appears pretty chaotic to me thus far.

I don't think a crash can be ruled out yet -

Remember the limited media exposure and cultural context of fishermen and others in the area.

I recall reading about lesser known plane crash originating out of the Philippines that was missing for perhaps as long, or even much longer.

A fisherman found a piece of a wing or something and just thought it was a piece of plywood or something.

Later on, they supposedly found him/it and paid him like 5K for that evidence, lolz.

The Russian checks out as a professional diver, a few stories on him. Virtually NOTHING on the Ukrainians. Does anyone have info on Sergeii and Oleg?

I found this page for Oleg Chustrak.
foto.mail.ru...

What I got from Google Translate:

Education -
School 1 (Ukraine, Savran)
ONPU (OGPU, PGI, Odessa National Polytechnic University) (Odessa, Ukraine)

Birthdate -
November 3, 1980 ( Scorpio ), 33 years

The schooling makes sense, given the photo of him working on power/telephone lines.

I haven't seen this addressed here yet in depth.

I'm talking about the potential lies, sketchiness of Boeing's remarks, and the timing of the FAA's AD towards Boeing's 777s.

Is Boeing trying to cover up? And hide behind the Malaysian authorities?

The motives would definitely be present in light of major budget cuts in US defense, recent Boeing layoffs, and possible future lawsuits related to cracking.

We are living in a corporate oligarchy, after all.
Thoughts?

Of Course Boeing will be trying to downplay any wrong doing on their part, they will have protocols on what they can and can't say to the public in this situation. I can't remember the exact source but I think they (or RR) said this in a recent statement, something along the lines of 'we are giving info to the malaysian authorities but won't release everything to the media".

They have stated categorically that the cracking issue didn't apply to the MH370 plane. If this is a crash, neither Boeing or anyone else at this stage knows what caused it. Boeing couldn't just simply cover up any potential problem and leave the rest of their planes in the air and liable to the same problems.

Not really, it's seismically active over there. If you don't think that's accurate, I invite you to the Quake Watch thread in Fragile Earth to ask for the records for the area, as we have a couple of keen members who can link you if needed, or possibly slap together a history graph.

So 5 days later, the world, yes THE WORLD, cannot find any trace of this plane. Forget everything you have heard and stipulate this:

Airline flight MAS370 flight leaving in the middle of the night. By way of electrical fault or terrorist attack the transponder and radio are switched off around 1:40am, military radar picks it up 1hour later as a large blip on the radar, send "escort" craft for recon, no radio contact, no transponder relay, auth to engage. Now designated "Combat patrol" takes out "unknown" target, non responding threat as per rules of engagement.
Next morning plane is announced missing with no trace to the point that 5 days later the world is now stipulating alien or interdimensional involvement....

Has anyone considered the mass destruction level of an air to air or ground to air missile and what would be left for tracking in this unspoken situation of a plane that size over an ocean falling from such a great high?

Experts on this mater please invite you now to reply.
