I was reading about the Montauk Experiment and it says that in 1983 a beast came out of the portal they had open in Camp Hope(?) anybody know about
this?

I recall reading about it, If memory serves me, they closed up the base and did their best to seal it in.

From my understanding, Montauk is actually an area on Long Island. It is said to contain a base called Camp Hope. It is also believed to be the
central testing facility for particle beam weaponry. It is said to contain over 7000 scientists in an 8 level underground complex, They are believed
to have shot down TWA flight 800 for numerous reasons. Here is a cool link to a possible theory.

If I remember correctly the Montauk Experiment was also supposed to be related to the Phildephia Experiment.
From what I've read on the subject the beast was created by Duncan Cameron's subconscious.

Insane:
It is believed that TWA800 was destroyed by a particle beam ray that was fired from a Golgoltha site at Montauk. A number of witnesses reported seeing
a flash of light from the forest that surrounds the base on the night of the disaster and just moments before, they saw the explosion in the sky.
There is another air base much closer to the crash site.
It should also be mentioned that the east end of long island has plenty of ufo and strange happenings type stories. there is one big one about a ufo
being shot down at Moriches Inlet (very close to the twa crash site). Another story I've heard a number of times is that the big fire in the pine
barrens back in the 90's was a crashed ufo and the fire was allowed to spread as a distraction to the clean up and removal.
There's a local paper, Dan's, that runs ufo and strange sighting stories all the time.
Another key area on the east end is Plum Island.
The east end is chock full of gov't stuff.
I live a few miles from the crash site. Many of us took our boats out and helped with the recovery at sea. The plane crashed/blew up a long ways
away from montauk and camp hope. Maybe 60 miles away. That's one hell of a long beam and it would have been seen by a ton of people since the
crash took place over a weekend in the summer when the hamptons were most crowded.

That web site was intresting, I found more information and I also read about how they supposedly locked the beast in the base. If its true for some
reason thats really smart on the governments part since now its a national park with tours!
