US and allies VS china, vietnam, and North Korea

Alway's wondered how a war would go between the Allied and the major Communist nations so my question is how would our and there weapons be employed? And the logistics, and the type of fighting there would be?

hmm...I can imagine China and NK working together, but can't see China and Vietnam working together.

What is the situation now in Vietnam anyways?...didn't see a lot of news about Vietnam recently.

Why would China help Vietnam when they went to war in 79 and 84?

I dont know how or why Vietnam would join in the war.
However I reackon the Americans would drop Nukes againgst military targets on the Chinese main land. Australia would become an important location for allied bases.

Neither can I, it's just a weird scenerio I thought up, and was wondering if it happened how we would do it?
