I know there are a lot of Romney haters here, but I suggest that the Democrats did an extremely fabulous job on painting him as a person that had no clue on foreign policy or care for the common person. These are two areas that Obama looked like a rock star to most and now we start to see a different picture than what the millions who voted for Obama were led to believe, or better said, wanted to believe.

OBAMA: Governor Romney, I'm glad that you recognize that Al Qaida is a threat, because a few months ago when you were asked what's the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia, not Al Qaida; you said Russia, in the 1980s, they're now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because, you know, the Cold War's been over for 20 years.

ROMNEY: Excuse me. It's a geopolitical foe, and I said in the same -- in the same paragraph I said, and Iran is the greatest national security threat we face. Russia does continue to battle us in the U.N. time and time again. I have clear eyes on this. I'm not going to wear rose-colored glasses when it comes to Russia, or Mr. Putin. And I'm certainly not going to say to him, I'll give you more flexibility after the election. After the election, he'll get more backbone. Number two, with regards to Iraq, you and I agreed I believe that there should be a status of forces agreement.

Here is the clip of that debate...enjoy

Debate

It's especially amusing because "Al Queda" doesn't meet the classical definition of a geopolitical threat. And Romney, very gently tries to explain that to him, and Obama becomes snarky. Then of course, there is the whole "the cold war has been over for 20 years" thing which looks naive reading the paper today.

(Did not vote for Romney, and I still think Romney was a turd sandwich, but at least he wasn't a soggy one)

While Romney realized the true power between Putin and Medvedev, Obama was whispering sweet nothings in what he assumed was a powerhouse's ear. Once again, Obama's green horn is evidenced.

That whole "turd" thing was the democrats greatest accomplishment, but in the end when you compared the two we have Romney who created over 100,000 new jobs in his startups and took a company with 30 million to 40 billion in assets. Took the Olympics from 400 plus million in the red to 60 million in the black...

Seems to have had the true reading on foreign policy too all compared to...

Thats a funny "debate". They're both essentially "debating" the same policy: plenty of foreign intervention, just how much and whom to target.

We've got the creator of Obamacare (Romney), debating the guy who enacted Obamacare (Obama). Talk about controlled opposition.

Well, Obama has turned out to be a typical warmongering necon.

As a matter of fact, had there not been an outcry, it looked like he was going to attack Syria as well.

What do people want? For the US government to nuke the entire planet?

And what would Romney have done? Start a WAR with Russia over the Ukraine?

Besides the INCREDIBLE amount of hypocrisy, the Russians are actually capable of defending themselves unlike these Arab nations which US troops have described as "turkey shoots".

Heres a portion from a real debate courtesy of a living legend.

The voters made their decision, and now the rest of the people have to live with their decision. That is the politics of the USA. Of course, that's if you believe that voters actually make the decision. MIGHT be a falsehood in there, albeit not mine, only TPTB.

Kind of left a few things out about Romney didn't you? How did Romney really make his money? By buying companies then borrowing as much money as he could on them. Then filed for bankruptcy and closed the companies he cashed in and the banks instead of losing money spread their loses to their other customers. Did I leave out he also raided employees retirement funds as well. And he did create 100K new jobs in China after listening to him speak he couldn't be happier with the slave labor over there.

Romney is as clueless to foreign policy as he is to what it is like to be a middleclass American. He is also a coward that hid behind his faith to get out of going to Vietnam while telling protestors of the war they should sign up and go there. I wonder if the "missionary" work he did in France was a success.

all other things aside
its kind of hilarious one side of your mouth speaks of the red menace while the other repeats their talking points
our economy was run into the ground decades ago and gets worse with each proceeding administration
a short term injection of capital in the 80s and 90s may look good at the time but when you shift the entire country into a service economy that relies on foreign nations using your currency as a reserve to stay afloat you have guaranteed failure in the long term
when youre talking about a national or global economy results are rarely if ever immediate
obama may be a pretty poor president but a large portion of what you see today is the result of past policies such as deregulation, globalization, broken tax codes, and out of control spending largely due to waste and sweetheart deals

and part of the problem is the public is for the most part ignorant and doesnt understand this so every administration just tries to delay the problem a little longer.....a little longer....... a little longer to avoid being stuck with the hot potato and the blame that comes with it

Please show some documentation of this, I'm not a Rommney fan, but he would of had to been better than Obama.
Micky Mouse would of been better than Obama!
I search and searched the internet and could find nothing to back your statement.
The closest reference:

Bain Capital's acquisition of Ampad exemplified a deal where it profited handsomely from early payments and management fees, even though the subject company itself ended up going into bankruptcy.[56][78][86] Dade Behring was another case where Bain Capital received an eightfold return on its investment, but the company itself was saddled with debt and laid off over a thousand employees before Bain Capital exited (the company subsequently went into bankruptcy, with more layoffs, before recovering and prospering).

Wiki
But then again, your statement is not up held here, Bain Capital did not borrow money against that company or any other.
Rommney did not manage the company.

Don't mean to go off topic, but this has happened before with a certain poster and posting what they read from Huff or heard on NPR.

Come on buster you just drink the Kool Aid of whatever the left spins, and boy do they spin well, my hat off to them.

"Another study that looked at the eight-year period following 77 deals during the same time found that in 17 cases the company went bankrupt or out of business, and in 6 cases Bain Capital lost all its investment. But 10 deals were very successful and represented 70 percent of the total profits."

Investing in companies that were going under and preventing 60 out of 77 high risk companies from failing is closer to what they did, along with the startups below is closer to the reality.

And he did create 100K new jobs in China after listening to him speak he couldn't be happier with the slave labor over there.

Here are some of his obvious China jobs he created lol...

Staples (a gain of 89,000 jobs), The Sports Authority (15,000 jobs), and Domino’s (7,900 jobs).

Buster you just hate the guy without any real reason other than left talking points... You can't even conceded one good point about the guy your distaste runs so deep.

Even with all the attention pushed on Romney you never found nothing weird or funny about Obama's work history, or lack of...at all...

Keep drinking the Kool Aid friend, it must be somewhat bitter sweet at this point, but at least Romney knew what counts as a geopolitical foe...something Obama with his snarky Al Qaeda pick totally didn't have a clue.

This would be like if someone asked Obama what was his favorite cat breed and he said Husky...lol our great leader...

OK, I understand.
But now are you suggesting, Reagan was a Socialist Communist.
You understand that, In a way, communism is an extreme form of socialism and Socialism is sometimes used interchangeably with Communism but the two philosophies have some stark differences.
But, Really, do I need to go through all that with you, I'm sure you're a product of America's Great Public Education System.

First fact you need to know, I was raised a Socialist, I'm from China.
Obama doesn't act like my old Russia Neighbors, a Communist, his policies lean more towards the Socialist side of the scale.
Now, when I worked in the Beijing Office, before I met my husband, I was tasked with Studying at that time President Reagan.
I don't remember finding any thing even remotely Socialist or Communistic about him or his Policies.
So, maybe you can show me some Documentation about Reagan that I over looked.

Again, O P Sorry, I didn't want to go off topic.

I didn't know Hitler, Stalin or even my old Boss, Mao was running to be elected as President of The United States of America.
Then again, That's Your Opinion and I Have Mine.
Obama has Proved Mine, we'll never know about Rommney.

I'm so Sorry if you feel that way, but I have a Right To My Opinion, Yes, I studied and took the Test

i am very aware of what socialism and communism are and i dont believe obama is a socialist or a communist but many people accuse him of those things very frequently
i was being satirical (in that derisive comments of the like are made of him on a regular basis)
you also seem to make the assumption that i somehow implied reagan was a "socialist communist" which is certainly not the case
my point was.... if you will recall... that all presidents in modern history have been bad..... not that they were all exactly the same.... so even using your incorrect assumption that i was calling obama a "socialist communist" i have no idea how you would have come to this conclusion (just a fun fact you need to know)
