It really doesn't get any more simple than that. People will either choose to be victims or they will choose to be victorious and let others become the statistic.

I don't plan on handing anything I may or may not own over to anybody....EVER.

I think there is growing momentum on both sides of the argument.

However our side, the Right one ... Imagine that leftist, is actually backed up bu the Constitution.

If you do not learn from our own history you will be doomed to live through a repeat of it.

Evils are sufferable but when a government seeks to deny us the rights guaranteed by the Constitution they agreed with to become a state, they will leave the people with no choice but to stand and defend those rights.

Can anyone tell me why I should have to give up my guns to a government that has time, and time again to be shown they are INCAPABLE of handing their weapons 'responsibly' ?

Hell between arming two bit dictators in the ME, and giving them stuff we can't own, and give them way more dangerous ones.

To arming drug cartels down south of the border.

To arming terrorists in the ME to over throw their 'elected' leaders.

And then there is NO GUN LAW NEEDED.

NONE!

Because the act of harming or murdering another person is already ILLEGAL.

Why some people support making more laws that a small percentage of the US population is not going to follow is beyond ASININE.

It doesn't make us safer.

It doesn't make us 'wiser'.

The only thing it does is create the worlds largest prison where only the 'police' and the 'state' have guns.

Anyone paying attention to the last 60 years has seen how that works out for people.

Oppose the UNCONSTITUTIONAL gun control laws, and stop supporting the fascist state.

Those who trade 'liberty' for 'security' will soon find themselves as having neither.

With the state with's it foot on the back of our necks ready to snap on a whim.

Stand up for YOUR civil liberites.

Stand up for that GD piece of paper or it truly will be.

Actually, no, in 1775 the British did not want to "take your guns" - they attempted to take control of the CANNON in militia armouries - any guns you had at home were not the target.

First...let me say Congrats on your 1775th post! What a post it is...hard to argue with it.

This gun grab in CT is just a litmus test to see whether the sheeple have been sufficiently pacified to allow them to start confiscation....LOL. I'd say they have their answer! I pity the LEO's that get tasked with actually taking those guns.....they would have to be stark raving mad to try.

Awesome opening post. The Supreme Court decisions are something most people don't look at. That alone should cover the reading comprehension issues some have when they try to understand the second amendment. Clearly it means no law that prevents owning arms is legal, SO that we can make civilian armies with the same firepower as either A: other Nations, or B: USA...


It is only a pity that I don't own any firearms that I could resist giving up yet. Maybe some day soon though.. I was almost expert with my M16-A2 so...
