What are they going to invade with? Have you bothered to look at the size and composition of the Russian armed forced compared to Ukraines? Have you bothered to look at a map and where Russia has to keep forces? Take a look at those numbers and try and figure out how Russia could invade Ukraine easly even without NATO in the way. Their are certain military realities here that can no be ignored.

Looking through live leak their appears to be some Russian Military Convoys literally driving into the Ukraine...it appears to be the most civil takeover that I have seen yet...

Ukraines military bases and military are in the West, a left over from the Cold War and the main reason they can not conduct and real offensive operations to remover the Russians. However they are more than capable of being able to defend the bulk of Ukraine from in invasion and as they have called out the reserves and even only half of them showed up they would be same size as Russia entire current military. The quality and training are not going to be great but, then again Russia beyond its elite units is not in much better shape. What you would have is simply stalemate with niether side able to move the other. In the mean time Russia's economy is in a state of panic.

Putin is starting to behave like Hitler. In 1938 Hitler annexed the Sudetenland based on the argument that the people living there were mostly German-speaking and preferred to be under the control of Germany. I don't think this situation will lead to WW3, however Putin is probably the most frightening public political figure on the planet at the moment because he's smart, cunning, and has no fear. He is a megalomaniac and has no respect for freedom of speech, freedom of the printing press, or personal liberty. Once KGB always KGB. I wonder what TPTB behind the scenes are actually thinking and doing.

1) The former Ukraine democratically elected far-right government didn't want to join the EU (December 2013).

6) The Germans, in the big picture, screw everything up because obviously about a 70% of the Ukraine people DO NOT WANT to join the EU. Remember the prior government was democratically elected.

Yeah and Crimea really wanted to join with Russia, Only after the Russians beat the crap out of anyone who did not want the Russians to be there and kept them all from voting. Everyone in the world know Russia has been pushing around Ukraine, Poisoning any opposition leaders that challenge Russia's men for office there so it would not become a NATO member.

Go back to Russia with your outright lies.

The Middle East is where Russia will expand its influence over the coming decade. It has a nice "budding" relationship with Iran in the works while the US is withdrawing from the region.

Russia will lose that game to Israel. Israel plays for keeps and Putin will lose his precious army he sends to help Assad.

It's all about money. Neither side gives a rat's ass about democracy or 'freely elected' squat. On the west you've got the IMF/Global banking cabal and their minions. Russia, on the other hand, is run by the Russian Mafia. Ain't no way Russia's giving up its naval base in Crimea.

Would that be like when Israel tried to invade Lebanon over land and lost 50+ main battle tanks when a bunch of nutters with really cool rockets blew them all to smithereens?. Apparently all the rockets came from Russia LOL. Israel?, haha. Russia isnt the PLO mate, they do actualy maintain a vast array of the most high tech military technology available.
