In situations such as yours, if you haven't been laying the groundwork (brainwashing) for years, your best bet is coercion.

Honest opinion?

Its none of the states business, who or how, consenting adults choose to love.

A better argument is Screw the State, they can't tell me who or how many people I can love.


In general its received better than permutations of LET me marry, much better to ask WHO ARE YOU TO LET ME ANYTHING.

And as an interesting side note, The only direct Verses in the bible directly opposed to polygamy technically applies to church Leaders and not members.
(as that tends to be a basis for denial)

From what I read there its about legal marriage equally polygamy. Ie marrying more than one woman. This isn't changing. The idea of being married, but only living with another has always been allowed. That is an issue of morality not national law. And apparently Utah was being a little fascist in their intrusion in people's lives.

Note this isn't from a liberal perspective on polygamy.

This is my opinion of polygamy. A narding offense!

I think the only opposition you would get that would make sense would be the tax codes (and various laws) are meant for two people so there would have to be some changes made to accommodate it on a practical level.

If you think that this thread will actually make a point and incite people to see some ironic perspective on gay marriage, I think you might be more outdated than you know.

It is not the State I fear...

The only way I see this working is if the women in question both WANTED...not just "okay", but as excited to gain a sister wive as you were a second wife. I think, for the right woman, I would take a sister wife.

1. I agree if all 3 are ok with it then Govt. should stay out of the house.

2. You are opening a gateway to hell with 2 women in the house.

3. I've studied the subject in depth actually and if it's only about sex on your part, you are wrong.

4. If approached right, it's a beneficial union for all. Children included.

I think it would be grand to have another woman around to understand my plight. I could use some help dealing with this fella, somebody on my team who would truly understand what I'm dealing with. Maybe my husband will think like you and get me a teammate. Haha.
