That's right.....And you and your entire family WILL accept it.

I am being discriminated against. What do you mean I can't have two wives?

My State is telling me who I can marry. I am going to form a group.

With an agenda. I must get Corporate America to fund my cause.

I'm here...There is three of us....and we are not going shopping.

How dare my State tell me who to marry. I'm offended.

My State must immediately change it's laws to accommodate my new found love.

There it is. There will soon be three of us. We demand you embrace us.

Now, does anyone have any advice on how I break this to my current wife.

She is as mean as a rattlesnake...

In situations such as yours, if you haven't been laying the groundwork (brainwashing) for years, your best bet is coercion.

Good luck. Enjoy the wives.

I suggest that you get them both together and tell them at the same time. That way your death should be quicker that way and your problem solved to the satisfaction of all involved.

Are you (obsurely and sarcasticly) commenting on this ruling?

Federal judge strikes down key parts of Utah's polygamy law in 'Sister Wives' ruling

A federal judge has found key parts of Utah’s anti-polygamy law to be unconstitutional, ruling in favor of a polygamous family known for their reality television show.

Plural marriages? You know they're coming!

Honest opinion?

Its none of the states business, who or how, consenting adults choose to love.

A better argument is Screw the State, they can't tell me who or how many people I can love.

In general its received better than permutations of LET me marry, much better to ask WHO ARE YOU TO LET ME ANYTHING.

ETA:

And as an interesting side note, The only direct Verses in the bible directly opposed to polygamy technically applies to church Leaders and not members.
(as that tends to be a basis for denial)

From what I read there its about legal marriage equally polygamy. Ie marrying more than one woman. This isn't changing. The idea of being married, but only living with another has always been allowed. That is an issue of morality not national law. And apparently Utah was being a little fascist in their intrusion in people's lives.

Note this isn't from a liberal perspective on polygamy.

This is my opinion of polygamy. A narding offense!

Yes, put them in the same room...tell them together.

I'm placing my bet you end up with....no wives...

You have a death wish...don't you...

What's wrong with two wives?

I think the only opposition you would get that would make sense would be the tax codes (and various laws) are meant for two people so there would have to be some changes made to accommodate it on a practical level.

If you think that this thread will actually make a point and incite people to see some ironic perspective on gay marriage, I think you might be more outdated than you know.

The only advice I have for you is to sleep with one eye open.

However if you do decide to go forth in your plan. Learn the art of hypnosis.

You are probably correct.

The only way I see this working is if the women in question both WANTED...not just "okay", but as excited to gain a sister wive as you were a second wife. I think, for the right woman, I would take a sister wife.

It's true....

A swift death is preferable.

Why do I get the feeling torture is in my future?

So what are you saying?

You might do it with the right couple?

Wow, where is this Xanadu?

1. I agree if all 3 are ok with it then Govt. should stay out of the house.

2. You are opening a gateway to hell with 2 women in the house.

3. I've studied the subject in depth actually and if it's only about sex on your part, you are wrong.

4. If approached right, it's a beneficial union for all. Children included.

5. I've lived this scenario...that's how I know.

Peace

I think it would be grand to have another woman around to understand my plight. I could use some help dealing with this fella, somebody on my team who would truly understand what I'm dealing with. Maybe my husband will think like you and get me a teammate. Haha.
