I created this thread because I am searching for information. I am trying to find out if there are multiple organizations or just NASA researching faster than the speed of light travel techniques. I would like to know all the public information on them available. If you know any resources of any experiments or techniques people have suggested or tried to achieve warp speeds please post them here. Thank you.

If you were trying to travel at the speed of light or near SOL wouldn't you collide with radiation like a train hitting a train or something like that?

Not if you were tunneling. There are some probability restrictions on moving matter but information works fine.
