The way it's worded it came off to me like Putin trying to backpedal from a failed attempt to peacefully take the ship.

Edit: you don't refer to people you are surrounding and taking over as 'colleagues'. Maybe its just the translation tho.

Or someone is trying to keep everyone tense and on the edge, hoping for the first shot to start it all.

This makes sense to me.
If Russia fires first. Then Ukraine is obligated to defend itself and fire back with no fault..not that they don't have a right now considering Russia is occupying their soil.
Vice versa. If Russia is fired upon..then its plenty provocation to protect themselves and whatever property they are claiming.

Question is..who will flinch first! That's how it feels now.

Eta. Yes andy1972...simply put. A Mexican standoff.

Asen....
'never surrender' was posted as the new Ukrainian leader's statement on both Crimea and parts of Ukraine.

Thank God for this.
But why did you edit this out?

If he won't say it, then I will. Rout them now. There will be more bloodshed if this goes on.
A rapist doesn't become nice just because you make yourself more accommodating.

It sounds like the last president was corrupted by money, toys and stuff. No room in his head for a single principle. Welcome to the politics. A lot of persons confuse being in politics, and having money, with power. He just wanted more. Good that he was booted.

If Ukraine sides with the west, they will frack your ley lines until everyone feels like crap and watches standard zionist fare, loving it until they wonder why they are dying, never guessing or imagining their souls were strangled in their sleep. On top of this, you will poison the water for generations, if not forever, and more soul strangling industries will move in and capitalize on the gloom.

If Ukraine allows itself to seep under the russian flag, expect another round of 'worship me, only me, and my glorious power, or take a bullet', for your children. We see this in the USA today. Surreal stagings of black ops as to disarm those who love freedom. Roadside cavity searches and murderous marauding police gangs who have total access to your phones and internet. Not to mention the coming drone massacres. Just so they can be on TV in front of the world. Lying and being rewarded a King's ransom for it, as if there is no such thing as tomorrow's judgment. It is what the NWO is striving for..not a better world, because even if they knew how or what to do to bring this about, it is not their ambition. Their ambition is to make themselves higher than everyone, at all costs. This includes oppression, and suffering. We are slowly learning that it isn't enough to be rich and in politics.

They can't help it. It is how their seed was magnetically encoded in their trysting. The Bolsheviks killed more than anyone can count or keep track of. The bloodstain of USSR must not be repeated.

This is why Hitler is so hyped, to erase the sin of the power hungry who deny God so they can accept God's praise for themselves. You cannot even talk about it, of all events in history, and keep your career or reputation from ruin.

Ukraine could be a paradise. Topographically varied, rich in climate and resources. All a man needs for a meaningful life are simple things, without oppression. The EU cannot even stand to let people view glorious celebrations of nudity on their computers. I think we see where this is going.

And here in amerika, consumers line up to invite them into their rooms in life size, with huge TV monitors. That would kill even God. You will have to take my word for it that this is truth. It will kill God-in-you.

For monitoring them, the smallest telescreens are best. Older sets without the insidious subliminal audio bearing SSSS is a must. The newer sets have inaudible tones, such as used in collars, and the sound seeps throughout the living quarters, even at the lowest settings. You must keep watch on them like children in a room unsupervised, at all times.
But too large of a screen and it will sap your spirit.

You can tell the amount of societal decay a nation is undergoing by the size of the TV's that are being bought.

Asen, I would ask that you repeat the statement that was removed.

'Never surrender' is the last thing that the Putin thug wants to hear.

It is key to solving the poison that infects the occupied lands, where truth is punished and lies are rewarded. I think we know what is at root here. Let them run like hell, for a change. This vacuum must be replaced quickly with leadership power that is incorruptible. I have little doubt that vested factions plied Ukraine's toppled leader with candies, as it works in nearly every case. If it weren't cars, it would have been women, or maybe something else. It ruins men and women equally. Have you listened to some of our 'leader's' insane utterances, used to justify totalitarian means? They do not get away with this because they are principled. They are given the go ahead, by both master, and slave.

I ask you who has it worse? The United States, or Ukraine?
I assure you that Ukraine has already accomplished two thirds of the task, by merely identifying the agents.
We in amerika, are sleeping. Dead, or sleeping.
They are moving in for the silent kill.
God bless Ukraine.

combatmaster

The head of Russia's Black Sea Fleet Aleksander Vitko set the deadline and threatened an attack "across Crimea". He also reportedly told two warships to surrender or be attacked at 17:00 GMT on Monday.

news source

Seeing its currently 17.05 GMT..... i guess its time for Russia to stop talking the talk and start walking the walk.

I thought the deadline was 0500 their time?

Are there two deadlines going on?

The first deadline was issued but before it expired a new deadline of 0300 GMT was issued.

According to Russia's Interfax agency, it reads: "If they do not surrender before 5am (3am UK time) tomorrow, a real assault will be started against units and divisions of the armed forces across Crimea."

But in a conflicting report, Interfax quoted an official representative for the Russian Ministry of Defence as saying the ultimatum was "total nonsense".

17:51: The Polish Foreign Minister, Radoslaw Sikorski, tells the BBC:
"My biggest fear is that the Russian authorities believe their own propaganda and make fatal mistakes that open the gates of hell."

Sounds like something my dad told me once.
"Never ever start believing your own Bullcrap.
Someone will come along and prove to you it's not true, usually with a bloody nose."

So, since Crimea has essentially been annexed by Russia, now they need provocation to go into eastern Ukraine. A shot fired in Crimea won't work, but Ukrainian forces shooting pro-Russian protestors would do the trick!

Or, a staged Ukrainian attack on the Ukraine/Russian border (ie Poland 1939) would also do the trick.

Russia has to show that the Ukrainian military is attacking Russian citizens or Russian ethnic population before they can strike.

I would also look for a terrorist attack on the Kremlin by a Ukrainian.

So if true then the Stan's trying to realign? Seems so odd to stir up the mix from afar. Or is it Putin strategy to keep the u.s. out of Ukraine and remain more focussed on Afghanistan?

Holy crap on a cracker. This is not a Bio chem exam. As one stated already. This is O Chem exam for me all over.
Confusing!

That's pretty scary sounding. Hopefully it is all just rumors. I would say at this stage rumors account for almost all of
the information and 'truth' ( or your definition of it) is a small % of what is being heard.

Someone from inside the Russian military has actually claimed that there are special forces (spetsnaz) in the Crimea with orders to shoot their comrades to spark off the incident...maybe just BS..maybe not..funnier things have happened.

I don't consider that BS at all. Makes sense considering all of the Russian troops running around without patches or insignia. All they would need would be a few Ukrainian uniforms and photos of the attack.

Let history be our guide in this one. Putin cannot fully implement the invasion until provoked; he must have reason.

CNN is also selling the 5am ultimatum (Taken from cnn.com headline):

"Ultimatum for Ukrainian forces?
Russia told Ukrainian forces in Crimea to clear out by 5 a.m. Tuesday or face a "military storm," a Russian news agency says."

Yeah i think refusal to attack at first was smart now however it crossed over into surrender. This tells me Ukraine cant even field a marginal military force.

About a month ago there was the leaked phone call from the US Assistant Secretary of State. It strongly indicated the US was either instigating or at least trying to control the recent leadership changes in the Ukraine that have now led to Russia reacting like this. If I remember right, the phone conversation was even purposely done between insecure cell phones. That might indicate the conversation was supposed to be intercepted.

So either the US purposely set things up to provoke Russia into doing this or the US seriously underestimated how Russia would react. While it could be total incompetence and underestimation, the more interesting questions occur If this was all intentional. If intentional, the questions I see are: Were the US and Russia were working together to do this? Or, if not, what is the US plan?

I remember my folks telling me about how the cold war got so serious with USSR at the time. I was talking to my folks about it again I picked up the paper for them and the first thing they said was the world better keep keen eye on that Putin he's means business when it comes to land grabbing.

Apparently this reminds them the build up of the cold war when they was my age.
