Where did you find the photo, because I saw it posted on Jerry Popowicz's twitter profile and he states it was taken yesterday, May 6th:

Jerry Popowicz ‏@JerryPopowicz

Russian Air Force helicopters have resumed flights over Belgorod - May 6th via VK (Spotters Team) #Ukraine

Yes, I found it on his Twitter page. I've just noticed his Tweet isn't on my screenprint. Usually I screenprint Twitter photos with the Tweet included. Thanks for bringing that up otherwise I would have been none the wiser.

The completely non fascistic government of Russia practices for its upcoming Victory Day parade.

Perhaps Putin will make a special announcement in his speech?

On the contrary, the EU was quite happy to trade with Russia and have Ukraine do the same. It was Russia who said "either or" with it's bribes, gas leverage and connections. Russia is/was a major trading partner of the EU so not sure quite why you think the EU would object to Ukraine trading with both parties.

And you're also way late for slamming the EU economy - over the worst and many of the major economies are doing very well indeed, especially the UK and Germany. The UK is the fastest growing Western economy right now.

I am not sure if that is the truth. Russia also traded With the EU, and theys till do. Even if it is stated in the media that they dont any more because of a blockade. But i know that the EU and US often use Third parties to do the trading for them.

Not many know that the USA is buing Oil from Iran. They dont know that because Iraninan oil is being bought through a Third party nation. And we Wonder how Iran can manage so good even when they are been blocked.

The Secretary General of NATO is currently speaking in Poland...

@NATOpress: #NATO SG @AndersFoghR in #Poland: "we haven't seen any signs that #Russia is withdrawing its troops."
Did anyone else catch General Breedlove saying NATO is considering having permanent bases in Europe? That's quite a big step.

A little humor on the parade:

This is the May 9th 2014 Moscow Victory Day Parade Route. It's a bit longer than last year.

I hope the peaceful pro-Russian protestors from Odessa are not dismayed by Putin's withdrawal announcement.

Here you go a good little video from VICE...

And here is another one...

Probably the best bit of reporting from Ukraine.

@StateOfUkraine: Ukraine's anti-terror operation continues. Gun battle right now near #Sloviansk between Ukrainian and pro-#Kremlin forces.

@ADeshchytsia: No #Russia troops withdrawal from the border - #Ukraine border service, @NATO and #Pentagon confirm. #Putin likely misleading, not mistaken
There have been some strong statements coming from the Ukrainian government tonight which would suggest, quite rightly, that they don't care what Vladimir Putin says in respect of what he wants. I think Ukraine is finally standing up to Russia. Their anti-terror operation appears to be slow but successful in some towns.

Here is some really cool footage of a Ukrainian Sukhoi SU-24 Fencer flying extremely low next to a highway (filmed in the last few days):

C'mon some of you are worse than the MSM on both sides with your nonstop propoganda. I do not see how so many are so one sided on this situation...

On a lighter note, that was a hilarious twitter pictureof the parade route. Surely nothing will go wrong there O.o

Next 48 hours will be interesting.

Interesting that in the first video the spokesman refereed to "The Peoples Republic of Donetsk"
I wonder if that is the way they normally refer to the area or if, as far as they are concerned, they have already broken away and formed their own country.

If that is true...

Maybe Putin is neither misleading or mistaken, but there is reluctance among his commanders to follow pullback orders?

I guess this is the disadvantage of having armed men running around with automatic weapons. You have some that will take advantage of the situation and terrorize the locals.
