Forensics for what, you do not believe that the people are dead? Look pretty dead to me or do you think the guy with the gun shot wound to the face is faking it? Please tell me what difference forensics will make in determining how these people died, gun shot to the face =dead, strangled with a cord=dead, burnt alive=dead. Do you think they done it to themselves? What the hell would they have to gain from killing themselves?

Republicans push for bill to allow military aid to Ukraine

the senators proposed legislation that would call on President Obama to provide the Ukrainian military with “direct military assistance” — including anti-tank and anti-aircraft weaponry — while paving the way for more sanctions against Moscow.
Specifically, the “Russian Aggression Prevention Act of 2014” would push the administration to bite down with sanctions against Russia’s state-owned gas monopoly Gazprom, weapons exporter Rosoboronexport and oil giant Rosneft.

It is curious that the ones with oil barons as their handlers would want to blow the profits of their oil masters, as so many American oil companies have contracts with Gazprom and Rosoboron. On the other hand, I've seen it posited that the China/Russia oil pipeline that is forthcoming would be practically dead in the water without Western help, particularly from the American part of that equation, and that could be important to protecting the petrodollar.

I found this clip on youtube, big protest in Berlin and at the beginning they are playing Russian national anthem.
I assume it is related to current events in Ukraine.

We will move forward with severe sanctions against Russia: Obama

It looks, from the article, that Obama's time line for enacting severe sanctions is right around the time the China/Russia oil deal contract signing takes place and also the Ukrainian elections are scheduled to take place. According to the article, Russia has already started taking measures to diversify its portfolio.

“Russia has resources to withstand sanctions for at least three-five years,” said Mikhail Khodorkovsky, former oil tycoon. “Europe should first ask itself whether it is prepared to keen penalising Russia over such a long time.”

This is something that I have been looking for a while. Three to five years is a good while and gives them plenty of time to take means to alleviate any symptoms of the sanctions, such as cementing deals with China, Iran, and certain African countries like they are now. It's enough time to make me think that even severe sanctions will be largely unsuccessful.

So, basically, the Russian military seems to be holding off at the moment, but there are organizations of Russian citizens and veterans that are going to try to go help friends, family members, and ethnic Russians? That's what I got out of the article.

that is what I understood as well. Unless Kiev announce a use of heavy weaponry, tanks, air force, full on engagement so to speak, I doubt Russian Army will get involved. What we see is typical guerilla warfare with not much of fighting.
I believe anti Kiev resistance movement is quite able to handle that kind of engagement and considering that more and more volunteers are joining, they should not suffer in this kind of fighting.
There is a plenty army veterans in South East itself as well.

I'm also seeing stories of pro-Maiden people starting to mobilize in the thousands and going to the south and east. These volunteers from Russia may be reacting to that, or perhaps the pro-Maiden people are reacting to the Russians. Perhaps it's one-upmanship.

Whatever else, it seems as though we have a very clear, very prolonged, very bloody civil war about to happen in the Ukraine.

A lot of pro-Maidan people are already there as a part of newly formed National Guard which is now along with Interior Ministry Special Forces a major force under Kiev's command. Those are forces we see currently engaged there.
There is basically little or no engagement of regular Ukrainian Army due to fact that many of them did not want to participate. Same with police forces & Berkut in South East, many of them sided with resistance movement. Quite recently Kiev addressed the issue of treason and lack of action amongst army and police.
I agree that we are ahead of civil war similar to what happened in Yugoslavia.
Mind you this one is on a bigger scale and can easy turn into something even bigger.

In short, if we think it has gotten bad we haven't seen anything yet..
