Well, this goes to show that these separatist leaders aren't actually leading anything. They seem to be just fronts/mouthpieces for the people that really lead the show, coupled with the fact that they don't seem to be in contact with one another and their demand vary greatly from one city/area to another.
There were news, in previous days, that another separatist leader, can't recall exactly which one, was a Moscow actor...

Did you notice they think there was a group of 30 Russian soldiers. they way thats worded. Interesting im guessing the 30 assaulted and the 70 were in waiting for when they took it? because they make a distinction somehow between the two groups.

Sounds exactly like how things developed in Kramatorsk, at the police station, a small number of armed and well-equiped men force entry and try to take over the location. After that a larger number of masked men, dressed in civilian clothes appear on the scene, while the armed men just secure the location, and begin to take up different tasks, from detaining those opposed to their actions, taking weapons and so on...

Shots are being fired and there is no live coverage anywhere but on twitter. Anyone else find that odd? I guess I should try and get some sleep and hope for the best for morning...

Breaking News is carrying decent coverage. Last update was 21 minutes ago. They are twitter feeds in part, but they'll post alerts with story links as soon as some become available too.

Hope that helps folks keep up a bit. They've been running a line of alerts over the last hour or two. A lot happening in Ukraine today, it seems.

Live coverage and live feeds have been scarce throughout the entire period, from E. Ukraine.
Also, during an anti-tero op, it would seem logical to limit if not cut off entirely communications, internet access and so on. We may begin seeing videos on the subject later in the day.

Using private contractors and 'cossack' mercenaries instead of active Russian military allowed Putin plausible deniability, as I think the CIA first used the term?

There is no easy or quick 'anti terrorist' operation against these seized buildings when you have such people providing security.

I know because the same company provides security to 'VIP' figures during conferences here in Dubai and Sharjah.

Yeah, I saw something along those lines, an article, in which they had identified some of the appearing in photos from Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, stated that some of them were part of a spec-ops unit called Typhoon, or something along those lines, and that they were also actively envolved in Chechnya and other conflicts.

Twitter seems to be lighting up with unconfirmed info of Russian troops moving towards or actually crossing Ukrainian border.
