Odd Russia keeps saying the sanctions are having no effect than to try to go to the WTO cryibg foul. So I guess Russia lied and the sanctions are indeed hurting there economy and that really sucks because apparently there are more on the way. By the end of next month Russians could be using the Ruble as toilet paper if they dont do something about the currency depreciation thats been going on. At this point id have to say they must be unable to control the fall of the Ruble or else they would have acted by nw.

Other info on the subject, Russia's economy, that I have read these days stated that the flight of foreign capital was larger in the first 3 months of 2014 than the entire year of 2013. Also economic growth projections were off by A LOT when compared to the actual numbers recorded, something on the lines of ~2.5% projected as opposed to ~0.8% recorded.

Absolute props to Lithuania and its UN representative. She is still currently speaking but so far has taken Russia to task and has called out the glaring issues currently being created by outside forces.

Lithuania is pushing for continued funding of human rights monitoring in all of Ukraine... including Crimea.

They are requesting the occupying powers to allow the mission in Crimea.

Russia is now speaking.. They are blaming the Kiev government.

The Russian Ambassador just announced that the people in the south / east have stated they would act as human shields.

If Putin is as shrewd as has seemed, he will allow that...as long as Russians are included in the mission in Ukraine.

Time to find out if he is as cunning as is claimed.

It doesn't work that way.. The mission is carried out by the UN Human Rights Commission and they are currently operating in Ukraine.

Then this is just a dog and pony show, and will amount to squat.

Russia is fed up with the West. The West is fed up with Russia.

We can make concessions and work together, or we can get on with the bloody.
