As resident ATS CIA trolls keep on blabbing about democracy, Ukraine has closed its borders to Russian journalists.

Over 20 Russian journalists banned from entering Ukraine — OSCE envoy

VIENNA, April 10. /ITAR-TASS/. More than 20 Russian journalists were not permitted to enter Ukraine to perform their professional duties, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Representative for the Freedom of Media Dunja Mijatovic told reporters on Thursday.

Huh.. I must have missed your post where you called out Russia for shutting down foreign media broadcasts in Russia.

Secondly - regarding the CIA comment.

You don't find it the least bit weird that media releases from Russian media are purposely non specific, only to see a specific?

I already pointed out the government officials and non public itineraries.
Read the article you posted a second time and you will notice -

* - They are specific about who visited. - Specific
* - They make it specific about dates of visit. - Specific
* - They make it clear its coming from "sources inside Ukraine". - non specific
* - They state it came from the LA Times yet supply no link.

I have been unable to find the article they are referencing on the LA Times website.
In other articles from Rusian media on this topic, they also got specific about his visit being discussed in the open by members of the Communist block.

All Specifics while being completely unable to verify any of their claims. The specifics they are throwing out there are designed to portray an image of the US undermining Ukraine stability while insinuating the US is working with the groups Putin accuses of killing "ethnic Russians".

Finally, they make it a point to state in those reports that there is absolutely no confirmation on anything. So once again we are back to non specific, general comments that are contained at the end of the article. By the time a person gets to the end of the article the specific message Russian is insinuating is already in the thought process of the reader and they wont care its not confirmed. That occurs by insinuating the US is working with the Communist neo Nazi thugs etc etc.

Its a Psyops piece geared at Ukraine and not the US.

This is why I encourage people to research media reports before swallowing them hook line and sinker.

I am not in a position to accuse McCain, Kerry and Nuland of anything but it should be clear to you that those three had major influence on events in Ukraine.

so don't say: "Russia started all this" because it is simply not true.

Russia is not the exactly the beacon of democracy, they are not the good guys; but neither is USA + Western minions.

I'm not sure in what manner you think they have impacted the Ukraine issue?

John Kerry and Nuland are State Department, and as such they have conversations like the one released, just as other nations do, including the nation that released the phone conversation. The issue I have with that phone conversation is the same one I had with the phone conversation of the Estonian foreign minister. They are not placed into any type of context and can be spun, as we saw with Estonia.

McCain is a member of the Senate and a US citizen. He does not give up his right to voice his opinion on topics, nor does any other members of Congress. Is it rare to have US officials speak out like McCain did? Not really and history shows that. It just depends on what the situation is and the politics involved. The only note I would add would be generally you will have senior members of respective parties voicing their opinions as opposed to junior members, but that's the way it goes.

As to McCain and his comments coming across as undermining foreign policy of a sitting President? That's up to the voters but to date I have not seen the White House flip over his comments. Because of his background he is more vocal on military matters, whether it is international or the US military at home.

Also the longer you are in government the more contact you will have with foreign officials. Having meetings with foreign officials is a norm and the more times you are elected the more contacts you have and relationships form. While members of the House represent the people, the US Senate is the states representative in government. Aside from key areas reserved to the President / Executive, Senators as well as state reps will hold meetings on trade etc for their respective states.

Having people in the US give their opinion on government actions is an American pastime and is nothing new.

They were all visiting Maidan during the protest to provide moral support. As a mater of fact ms Nuland brought bags full of cookies with her to share with people at Maidan. They expect her to come back these days and bring those promised billions of dollars. Still waiting.

Russia has called on the UNSC and OSCE to urgently consider the crisis in Ukraine, saying that the announcement made by the Kiev authorities on Sunday to mobilize military forces to put down protests in the south-east of the country is a ‘criminal order.’

Events in south-eastern Ukraine have taken a very dangerous turn, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

“The Kiev authorities, who self-proclaimed themselves as a result of a coup, have embarked on the violent military suppression of the protests,” the ministry said adding that the rallies, which have gripped the Donbas region were prompted by Kiev’s disregard of the legitimate interests the people.

Moscow slammed Sunday’s order, issued by the coup-imposed acting President Aleksandr Turchinov approving a full-scale security operation in the country’s eastern regions, as “criminal”.

“Blood has already been spilled as the result of such actions in the South East.”

Yes they do have a choice, however its so unpalatable to them and those who wish for a return to the Soviet Union.

Russia's choice would be to acknowledge they are not the Soviet Union and that it is not the height of the cold war. It requires Putin to acknowledge Russia does not carry the same clout as the former Soviet Union. Putin would have to acknowledge the game plan of the former Soviet Union actually failed and is not compatible with the 21st century. It would require Putin to acknowledge that they cannot force a nation / former SSR to capitulate to their demands.

Since Putin came up during those time frames (cold war) he has taken everything that has happened to Russia as a personal affront to what he spent a lifetime helping create.

Putin is trying to prove a personal point to the world that the Soviet Union and Russian greatness and leadership aren't gone. I think, based on looking at his progression after the collapse of the USSR up to this point. Putin feels Russia has been disrespected by Europe / West / NATO and, imo, has decided that trying to gain respect among those groups by is not going to happen (in his mind) but they might respect Russia if it resembles in every manner the former USSR.

In other words, the Russian state television agency is quoting a Russian official who is claiming that the government in Kiyev issued the orders you believe are true, so no, you can't prove that the orders were ever really given.

are there any news about Blackwater/Greystone/ other mercenaries on the ground?

“Private contractors could be hired by NATO, or by Ukrainian government or by an intermediary. Anyone can hire Greystone, they operate covertly, they don’t identify themselves, and make money,” Chossudovsky said. “Considering that Ukraine’s security services show their obvious incompetence, foreign mercenaries are supposed to suppress the protests in the southeastern part of the country,” Korotchenko said.

Ive seen media accounts (Russian) that Greystone was on the ground. The company stated they had no one in Ukraine however on follow up requests they were not commenting.

Private contractors can also be hired by Russia.

The blackout would make sense to prevent prior notification of impending government operations against pro Russian forces.

I hope Russia will hire "private contractors" for a summer gig in USA supporting "American spring" on May 26th.

Let the freedom flow!

You are new here, so you probably don't realize that most members of ATS understand that the first one to accuse someone else of being a "disinfo agent" is probably the real disinfo agent. You don't need to answer your own questions. Your behavior makes your agenda obvious.

I see, so how many posts does it take to get paid for disinformation here?

I take is any anti-CIA, anti-Nazi behavior is not accepted here, right?

So only anti-Russian, anti-Putin and pro-CIA behavior is not considered an as an agenda?

Hey, buddy, screw CIA!!!

Are you able to post here or not? You are? So what are you complaining about?

What is your clearance level to have illegal orders to execute civilians with military force to be delivered to you personally?

That's because everything Russians say is an evil lie, but everything USA says is the purest spring of pure truth, gentile democracy and heartfelt care of peace and freedom for all man kind. That's why.

CIA is not even an agency, it's a care center for disadvantaged children.
