Russia has not been a super power for 30 years........In the world right now there is only 1 super power. China could do it in another decade if they build a navel fleet.

Russia has one thing that is a scary and they can only use it one time.

Russian isn't a super power??
Right..explain to me then why the USA and Europe currently have their balls up around their ears then??

Look up the definition of a super power......Russia is not a super power they are a regional power. Right now in the world only the US is a super power and that could change in the next decade.

Actually, even tho we see this as "Breaking News" on most MSN outlets in the U.S., it has been repeated over and over that NATO is not going to act. This is kinda odd, but it implies to me at least, that people in power here aren't too concerned by this. Whether it's true or not remains to be seen, but the attitude here seems to be that Putin is just "saber rattling" and it's not a big deal. I'm not saying I agree, but the tough "talk" and lack of action is telling IMO. ( not JUST by the U.S. but all of the Euro NATO nations)

Sorry, i may have miss understood something. I quoted from here. We posted from different parts of RT.

I am moving continously from TV, internet back to TV sources and posting here.

Could you do me a favour, please, post the two blocks of text side by side for a comparison.

As far as I see your location is West of Ukraine. It's - pro-Western part of Ukraine, supporting the seizure of power in power in Kiev. And all the media and TV, where are the links now subordinated "junta" seized power in Ukraine, except that in the Crimea. The question is simple: why these sources must be credible?
Once again, the information now Crimea cut off from the rest of the world's military structures. Assessment of the situation is possible only by official sources from the Crimea. Sources carry a pro-Russian information.

Did you just really???

superpower
ˈsuːpəpaʊə,ˈsjuː-/Verzenden
noun
1.
a very powerful and influential nation (used especially with reference to the US and the former Soviet Union when these were perceived as the two most powerful nations in the world).

F** this def; any nation with enough nukes to blow up earth 10 times is to be considered a super power.

I am not posting from regional news, only national. Crimea is very pro Russian and Russian news are covering them. But we are not getting any news from local news outlets in Crimea, but national TV reporters in Crimea.

Did you read the link you posted.........The former Soviet Union.........Priceless. Russia is a regional power not a super power anymore.

China is not even a super power because they are lacking a navy.

Here is a news source for you

The 39th training battalion barracks have been attacked too. The Russian soldiers are posted around the unit, threatening to open fire, UP correspondent reports.

zik.ua...

To avoid bloodshed, residents of Balaclava (predominantly the families of the border guards) formed a human shield between the Russian troops surrounding the unit and the border guards, the unit’s press service says.

Agreed. Russia could easily turn the world as we know it upside down, or just blow it all up. Superpower yes, economic superpower no.

Then again, today who can be considered an economic superpower? Everyone is in debt. Everyone has a failing economy.

Really.......Let me straighten you out. I believe the world is ruled by Oligarchies and that includes the US and the EU and ya even Russia. So take you weak arguments and use them on the next guy.

And by the way Russia is not a super power.............Gotta love internet logic.

The Ukraine isnt in NATO..
The Ukraine accepted to have Russian military bases until 2042 and a 15 billion bailout.
The Ukraine gave the bird to the west in favour of Russian aid, turning down the wests offer..
So now, the Ukraine will find itself alone because they turned there back on the Eu.
This sitaution was PROVOKED to put the Ukraine in this position to teach her a lesson.
Now, the EU will be saying to the Ukraine -

"Remember i said to you if a country like the Ukraine had enemies, then their enemies would become our enemies, and then they would fear you. Well you didn't want our help..now you alone, maybe next time you'll accept the Western hand of friendship."

We could consider the consequences if that nation just seized to exist. Would the wheels still turn?

To be a super power you need to be able to control not only the land but the ocean China is not able to do this.....yet. I say another 20 years and they will be a super power. The US might not be a super power in the future only time can tell.

You mentioned Russia is a super power because of nukes.....Is India and Pakistan and Israel and France also super powers?

They don't seem to care, much less have their balls around anything..
