this initial response from Ukrainian police and eventually army will be deciding.

if they don't act in a right way they will loose again.

in my opinion they don't have too many options.

Yes, when they are not begging for donations.

I would assume Ukraine's Special Forces are only going to be a relatively small number of people and no where near the numbers needed to protect all relevant buildings. I've heard that the pro-Russian protesters are going to be storming radio and television centres. This is by far the worst day of violence since February.

There are more Tweets suggesting that pro-Russian protesters who stormed buildings earlier and who are now occupying them are calling reinforcements in to build up their numbers. I've also seen pictures of injured people as well as Ukrainian police allegedly protecting the 'main men' of the protests. It's interesting how the media are still covering MH370 but not Ukraine!

Same with Ukrainian media. Just 1 min to show that the building has been taken over in Donetsk. Nothing more.

Hmm, wonder what this 'help' might be.

How the appointed govt of Ukraine will respond to this will be pivotal, imo they have there hands tied.
Any blood on their hands will lead to further unrest,fingers crossed push doesn't come to shove.
