Good morning all.

I don't drink coffee, but I love my tea. Drinking some cam tea now. It's 1:30 am here. I got home from work tonite and I'm still up.
I guess having 3 days off has screwed up my inner clock.

Just wanted to stop in and say HI. Hope everyone has a good day today.

Peace
Crappiekat

The video I saw really did not pass muster. Unless I see a rending table, a corpse, a vivisection, and processing of a human body for consumption, I will have my doubts as to the authenticity of this premise.

And a most worthy enterprise it is too! Let's munch leeks and randomly attack people with bunches of daffodils! That would be the funniest way to get arrested I reckon!

Nah, just munch the leeks raw...

Good morning everyone,

I'm still on my first cup of coffee, thinking about what to cook.
Either I will make an Asian Chicken with veggies and hoy sin sauce, or Italian and make mushroom rizotto with cordon blue.

I don't eat a lot of junk food, only once a month, but then it has to be a burger for me, and some chocolate, and chips....yum.
I make my own pizza, so I can put whatever hubby and I like on it.

But my half of the pizza is always super hot.

I have a close relationship with my Tobasco sauce.

We go a long way back. My brother and I used to have chili eating competitions when we were kids, to see who could eat their food the hottest , I always won, but I think it also helped a lot that he was 4 years younger than me.

I'm making chicken Korma instead. So Indian it is. lol

The Welsh Rarebit looks delicious.

Toast, with melted cheese and poached egg. Little basil and salt, voila.
I've been doing that for ages, I just didn't know it was Welsh.

from time to time we make hens in a nest. basically, take a glass and press out the middle of a slice of thick cut bread. Put it in some melted butter on a skillet just long enough to soak in some butter, then flip. break an egg into the middle of it and season the egg (salt/pepper). Flip it when appropriate and finish toasting the bread/cooking the egg.

I have a few toppings i rotate through. My favorite is hollandaise sauce. Sometimes i make serve with a breakfast steak, and a bernaise sauce (that sour/savory goodness that is only done right with fresh tarragon). If i am being lazy, i may just drizzle honey all over the top of it.

ETA: a Texas treat: when you make your hollandaise, mix in some pureed chipotle peppers.

G'morning, everyone. Just poured my first coffee to the sound of the snow plow passing by. I don't think I can look outside just yet. This has been a difficult year for us winter wussies.
