I would like to introduce myself. A newbie of sorts. Although I have visited ATS many times this is a first for me to say anything. I saw the Bolt Hole and thought it would be a good place to start.

. As my profile states I live in Oklahoma. I am retired from the U.S Coast Guard. I have a daughter that is in the Army and is married to her best friend who happens to be in the Army as well.
I read a lot, I go fishing frequently, and camp out with my family on weekends. We have a favorite spot on Ft. Gibson Lake near where we live.

The guys are of course correct it would be a great idea to go to the introduction forum where there is heavier traffic and get you face seen so to speak.

Good morning all!
Had a wonderful week camping with someone special! Just love the great outdoors- it renews my spirit!
I start looking for a new job today, the first in a few years. Feeling confident that I shall be successful, especially since I'm not too picky- a job is just a job and anything that brings in a paycheck is fine until I get back into the groove again!

I'm well chuffed your camping trip was a success We're looking forward to an ATS meet up in Scotland at the end of May got my tickets booked and I'm chomping at the bit to go.



Mrs C and I have just planted our fruit and veg for this year in the outside courtyard (we don't have a garden) so we use grow bags, here's hoping it's a success as well.

Had a bit of rain already - not to mention a mini cyclone - and some spectacular electrical storms!
( being coastal this is fairly par )
