MANHATTAN - Strange stories of several sub-basement levels descending below the Empire State Building, rumors of descending sub-basements connecting with ancient tunnels and sub-basement levels controlled by the Federal government. Following the Twin Towers bombing it was reported that 6 sub-levels controlled by the Secret Service were damaged. Also in a similar fashion LOCAL reporters in the early hours of the Oklahoma City bombing reported that underground tunnels containing all kinds of military hardware had been blasted open, and also rumors of an 18-leveled underground facility below the Murah Federal Building, with the 5 upper levels being used for parking.
